  1. not really considering he played full games upfront due a lack of attackers, which is what i was getting at. As i said i don't really know enough about this Little to make a true comment on his attacking abilities and Wilkie was the only other instance, i can think of, where a defender played in both attacking and defensive roles.. Its a bit of an oxymoron.
  2. in a similar way that wilkie was used for united? put up front for his physical presence at the tail end of a match (or, in his case simply as a back up striker). Don't really know much of Little but if he could play in defence and then shoved upfront for some extra options then I'm sure he'd be great.
  3. don't think I've put one up yet so I'll go with , rangers Celtic hearts Motherwell Dundee united Aberdeen -------------- dunfermline inverness st Johnstone killie st midden hibs we'll improve but i reckon hearts will still be best of the rest. hibs'll be down.... hopefully.
  4. ah see what you're saying now, i think. are you saying that Its not a game as such but more of a bounce match/match in training?
  5. Its still not meaningless. Its just non-competitive, That doesn't make it meaningless. It makes it NON-COMPETITIVE.
  6. isn't that the training top?
  7. Wouldn't say it was a "meaningless friendly". Last night was a nice wee test of fitness for both sides and on Saturday it will be another, albeit tougher, test against a much higher standard of opposition.
  8. wasn't our kits last season not out until about august? Its just the early start that's causing trouble?
  9. Am i the only one who thought hateley's crosses were poor last night and Humphrey's were good with one or two exceptions each? He was also wearing strapping on his thighs, so could that affect them? Thought it was a good game last night. Law is a Hell of a player and certainly has big future ahead of him. Some of his passes were amazing. Never a dive from Murphy for the pen and a well taken pen by Craigan. Both Murphy and Humphrey were unlucky not to score in the second half. My little brothers first ever game and needless to say he loved it!!!
  10. i also have his lobbed owngoal against hearts
  11. memories of Craigan.... 1. His semifinal goal/ celebration/ reaction at the final whistle 2. Opening the gate and getting a goal straight from the throw against killie. 3. trying again and getting told no By the ref.
  12. when are rangers not wanting a player that could threaten their defence? I'd ignore this one. Start McCall has already page that he wouldn't consider a bid as low as £700k.
  13. Haha Nah he wants to go watch Motherwell play, the facepainting would simply be a bonus
  14. what a better way to make him not want to come back to the football....
  15. this will be my little brothers first ever game. do you think there will be the facepainting in the cooper stand?
  16. I'd imagine so. not sure on that one Tbh.
  17. I think the majority of our support just refused to rate him because he was a Celtic player. I thought he was pretty good in the games i saw him play.
  18. I was meaning the two player in..
  19. If we bring in two half decent strikers, Murphy is off. Whether it be on loan or as the permanent deal.
  20. that is the area between the keeper and the centre backs. Generally between the penalty spot and the 6 yard line. also know as on mans land. the use of the word corridor tells us that it is from out wide as the back line and the keeper make up the walls of a corridor - with that sort of detail, I'll have passed my higher English exam
  21. Haha or maybe he was sacked and is now doing it from his front room reading the news of the world
