Well, He moved to Everton Where he was nurtured and was only taken away by a High Bid From Birmingham. He found himself at Everton and has since then taken up a midfield role instead of an attacking role. AS far as I remember he played a big role in Evertons Champions league campiagn a few years back. Scoring goals etc.

But If you look at the success of Players such as James McFadden and James McCarthy who both went to reasonably Mid Table EPL Clubs. McFadden is earning high and Playing football week in week out With Birmingham (Except When He was Injured) and McCarthy is doing much the same with Wigan. Although McFadden was still a class or so above Murphy, He played the exact same role as Murphy is doing so now and Murphy would be a great success in the EPL.

Well it wouldn't be fair on the Team that finished top, but lost out due to a single bad performance at the end of the season, Even though they may have finished top with a far superior points and Goals Difference. It wouldn't work. Fair Enough, if both teams finish Equally across the board and have drawn their games with each other, then there would be a play off decider.

Well, Sure we'd lose out on going to a cold stadium the day after the night before TWICE in a week. But instead we'd have Football in more enjoyable, warmer and more comfortable atmospheres. In my opinion, Summer Football would be great, but it would only be really successful every odd year because of major tournaments like the world Cup or the Euros. If Scotland reached one of said competitions then that would be one hell of an international break and would force the season into the winter anyway. - Saying that, if there was no international breaks, all the scotland players wouldn't represent their respective clubs and would give the other 12 teams in the league an advantage.

I agree. I'd take the Three Points over the cup Win especially how its only the Co-op Cup, although the more winnable of the two domestics, and wait for a Scottish Cup Run.
