Most of our goals are special nowadays because of how well the build up play is! But my favourite from this season will always be Aniers goal at Easter Road on the Opening day! Moores comes a very VERY close second for me! Then Obviously Ainsworths thunderbolt! Missed all the joy from Reids goal as twitter crashed whilst I was working in Airdrie but when it reloaded, the first thing I saw was the Aberdeen tweet saying "Motherwell have scored" ... This made me very happy!

I seem to remember Martinez saying something about the abuse levels in Scotland being so bad that he could never have stayed longer than he did! Saying that, it was an article in the Sun...
-
Too good a start.... Relegation it is then All joking aside, this is great news! Just Faddy, Hammy, Lasley, Reid and Ainsworth now! (Rambo too unless he has another year?)
-
I'm with Diggle.... UBH is a conspiracy
-
I think his honkin efforts from a few pages back has something to do with it tbh!
-
Pardon my ignorance there!
-
He wants to progress in his career! Have a think before making posts i was going by paper talk to be fair. with Lennon saying back in January that he liked Hutch, thats where that came from. I think its a championship team - Doncaster Rovers, Yeovil, that sort of level.

Its nothing to do with the SPFL/SFA being overzealous with rules, its a nationwide Health and safety thing for some reason. I personally don't agree with it being forbidden as its just a bit of fun in the end. But there is a certain risk of crushing and serious injury involved. A fine is fair - better than a points deduction. I'm sure its a relatively low fine as well!

My expectations of June/July are as follows.. Players who will sign on again - Hammell, McManus, Lasley and Mcfadden. Players gone - Hutchison (Either to Celtic, Aberdeen or the English Championship) Question Marks - Ainsworth (will depend on his circumstaces) Pretty much all tried U20s (Don't know contract details) Any others I missed out?
-
Ill have 2-1 Us! With Aberdeen and Dundee United both potentially dropping points against Celtic and ICT respectively!
-
Yassin - I made a suggestion. A suggestion that would do nothing but symbolise the best time to watch Motherwell play! It had and has no sectarian connotation whatsoever. By your logic, Wolfsburg should never play in this country, because of their diagonal stripe, amid fears of creating a mass Catholic-Protestant riot.. Back to our kit, I imagine that the kits will be unveiled within the next couple weeks since we open pre-orders in a little over 24 hours! Purely conjecture mind, but I think the club will want to get sales early!
-
Glad to see its finally been announced, and even nicer to see the C&A Macron Logo! Something about it just seems right! Now we need to avoid a Leeds type home kit! Wouldn't mind a wee change from the Band though... could do with a sash kit or something!

Motherwell V Inverness Ct 19/03/14 Wednesday
'Wellfan 2k7 replied to Yabba's Turd's topic in Club Chat
Gunnar Neilson in goals, Inverness losing on Sunday.... If we win, then we probably deserve it. If we lose, it probably wouldn't surprise me. I can see a draw here. Inverness will be wanting to prove themselves. We will be wanting to catch up on Aberdeen. 2-2! -
I don't think the Ladies team is bound by the Genesis contract though since they are not actually run by the club - they are run by the Community Trust. My thoughts was that it was a tester of the kit as only a couple of the players were wearing it.
-
Well Ladies have kinda given away that our kits from next season will be Macron as a few of their players are wearin Macron Training wear with the Motherwell Badge and everything! Proof?
-
Another defeat on the cards IMO! Never liked Neilson, always thought he was just a poor keeper, for club and country. With our injury list and Hearts' growing confidence, I reckon they will ease to a 2-0 win. But hey, have faith and you never know.
-
2-0 Saints. Something about us being able to Leapfrog Aberdeen means we won't win!
-
Hands down the Cup Final against Rangers! Remember sitting and getting more and more down as the goals went in. No need to get further into it, is there? Close second for me would be the aforementioned East End Park defeat. 4-1 and ripped to shreds by a future motherwell star. Worst of all, Dunfermline were comfortably relegated that season yet we couldn't even grab a point there. It was a Monday night as well, which was not ideal. A contentious red card for Reynolds and the worst sliding tackle I've seen by Scott McDonald- 15 seconds after scoring from the spot- all but rubber stamped this night as one to forget.

This raised one question with me, has a team ever had a Designer brand kit? Also, is it a bad thing that I quite like that and would not object to that as an actual kit? Perhaps without the blue though!
-
A well rested, complacent Celtic team? At Park head? Fuck we should be able to go there and win, but we won't!
-
One can hope!

I still think McHugh is a decent player, just not for us anymore. Cummins will need to perform well up there in order to think of playing back at this level. If he flops, then he wont be here next season I don't think. Saying that, I don't expect him to flop at all..

6 games on the bounce? something about that just isn't very... Motherwell.... Would take a draw in this game tbh, got a soft spot for hearts through family and experience of a good day out. Although, I think we will win by 4 goals or more. Their most talented "young" player IMO is Sam Nicholson who if he starts, he could change the games out look entirely.

Shooting for a negative post here, but Motherwell is Motherwell. I couldn't care less if Chick Young wants to slate us for putting 3 passed his precious St Midden. I couldn't care less if the Sun tells this country that we employed 3 Convicts in a rehabilitation scheme (remember their slogan, "Murder-well"?). So, in terms of The Media, stuff them. Suppose on the odd, and rare, occasion, we do earn some bad rep - the odd bit of crowd trouble (who's really to blame though?), our use of Pyro can be seen as dangerous at times and of course, we do have the odd arsehole who travels to games hoping for an argument (But so does Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen and Dundee United) But, we have all but inspired the "rest" to have more atmospheric games! Now every team has a singing section, most utilising drums and unfortunately 'our' beats/songs. We certainly have the noisiest support out with the old firm and Aberdeen - but on their travels, this is more down to the number of people, rather than the noise they are making. We sing until the end, whatever the score. We rally being the team, even if we are 2-0 down at Easter Road, for example. So aye, we do get a rough deal... But the ones dealing the cards are a bunch of fannies anyway. We will win a league title, before Aberdeen or Dundee United do. That's for sure.
