I liked Saunders. Was great to see him get the reception he got from the east stand when he was warming up at half time for County last season.

There hasn't really been much going on in the transfer world for us this close season on the face of it. I'm hoping we are waiting to see how we do in Europe ie getting through this round which could pull in £100k or so. I'm hoping we have names, we've had discussions and we are waiting on a few things. Other teams have made some signings which looked to be good (although I have little to base this on) such as Dundee Utd, there squad is shaping up nicely. We're sort of looking a bit static at the moment.

I rarely criticise a player on here, and looking back on what I said about ZFA, it was far from berating. However if I believe that a player isn't very good, that's it until the player changes my mind. My opinion won't change by people telling me he is young, he needs a chance, or whatever the excuse may be. I've given my reasons on not rating ZFA before. He has poor off the ball awareness.

If Boyd to United is true then they will have some attacking threat next season with Ciftci, Armstrong, Dow, McKay-Steven, Gauld and Boyd. Beyond what we have, and going by what Flow said in the BBC interview regarding McCall, I reckon we will see one or two new players, one may be Ainsworth but my gut feeling is one more beyond that as well. I'd like some news on Hollis. At this point I thought he'd be out of contract but no official word. Surely we won't have 3 goalkeepers next season (4 if the youngster is still in the mix).

This is a fair point. I'd probably agree with that. Of the guys left, a reasonable partnership could possibly be made. Most likely by Ramsden. It's probably his fitness that's the drawback.
