  1. Aye, 3 - 1 sounds a bit nuts, but hey, we have some quality players. My mate is going to it via some commercial hospitality, he is a Rangers fan, asked me who to look out for, i duely to him the ever growing list of quality Well youngsters. Be so good to get it right up them!
  2. I dont know if im going pathalogically insane, the score and phrase "Motherwell 3 - 1 Rangers" has been bouncing inside my heed for days now. So, 3 - 1 Motherwell it is for me. Really want ot get to the game, was scouring the online ticketing service yesterday, but i have decided against it due to a night out later and consequent lack of cash. Come on the 'Well.
  3. I'll take any c**t. Simlpy because we will fuck them good and proper like
  4. I agree with the fella who said we need to stop Mulgrew but i do also think Aluko is a problem. Anyway, i think they are poor defensively, the energy and enthusiasm we showed in the first half v Killie would be hard for Aberdeen to cope with. I would go with: Ruddy Saunders Hutchison Craigan Reynolds Slane Coke Forbes Obrien Murphy Sutton Not sure on having both Murphy and Slane in together, might need a more defensive minded player in that area, maybe Jennings, im not totally convinced by Humphreys yet.
  5. We left Law last night about 7.05pm got stuck the minute we hit Newhouse roundabout, but we took a right just before the industrial estate in Airdrie, drove up a strange back road and parked in the housing estate next to the stadium, think we were bout 10mins late, but still caught the goals.
  6. Buying tickets at the stadium tonight and dragging along 2 others to support the 'Well.
  7. Agreed mate, i cant see the bad in whats been written, the primary source of displeasure in the article is the event itself. The story is true, its a fact we all know about, and stories like this make the papers every single day, nothing should make Motherwell FC stories exepmt.
  8. Whats it all about? Complete madness! Some folk should be kept in a kennel.
  9. I have a feeling, as others have said, that your mate is talking dog shit. Althuogh McCart is there, i highly doubt that Murphy is at the level they are looking for.
  10. I wasnt a huge fan of Klimpl, each time i saw him he made some horror passes, he worked hard, but he wasnt irreplaceable.
  11. Well said big man, if we cant speculate these forums would be pointless because lets face it, about 90% of us have no idea whats going on in the background. De-militarise the forum a wee bit more PS I heard that Dustin Hoffman was a tedious asshole.
  12. True especially when folk have been stating Mac has a poor record; Sanchez doesnt have a great record either.
  13. Yeah, fair points Eddie, it is another way of looking at it, or indeed the only factual way of looking at it! I tend to let me heart rule my head when it comes to appointing new managers, if i was on the board we would be fucked! . but thankfully im just a diddy on the net!
  14. Ah Right, you mean far fetched. Yeah it is a rumour, the fella that posted i think has said that. But in terms of it working i dont think its daft. Albeit they are relatively big fish as someone has already said, but when you think about it; does Brown want to be a number one at his age? Would the Motherwell number 2 position be a nice little job for him at this stage in his life. And Gary McAllister has already stated his interest. I can see how the press and any rumours would stick these two names together. But aside from the far fetched feeling of it, it would be a good line up in my opnion.
  15. What do you perceive as being daft about that?
  16. I'd take that in an instant, think that team would work really well.
  17. Yeah, my vote was originally for Brown, but having second thoughts and going towards Nijholt or Mac, with Mac edging it.
  18. This interview makes no sense 1. He wants to prove himself so he can become Aberdeen manager! - Does this mean he knows McGhee has his eye on another post(s) already? - Would being a successful manager at a league rival (Motherwell) not be a better way of getting your name out there? - Where has this desire to manage a club totally un-affiliated with him come from? - He potrays a desire to manage, so why not take the Motherwell offer? Ultimately the only thinkg i can conclude from this is that he didnt have the guts and/or faith in his own abillity to come out from behind McGhee and take on a No1 managers spot. Oh and taht McGhee is already, not surprisingly, making himself un commital about his future.
