It was. They were all apparently auld as fuck. The Saudis that is. Gary Bolan and the likes playing for Scotland.
-
Fuck the Saudis.
-
Right now, with all the names that have been mentioned I'm sitting with the following preference: 1. McGhee (I know, I just can't help but feel he is the exactly what we need). 2. Mixu. 3. Gary Mac.

^ is that Finnish teletext. Book me a holiday.

Yas!

Has he got a team over there?
-
I see McFadden still hasn't signed with anyone. I can only assume his career is all but over.
-
Hmmmmmm. At first I thought no. But like a former burd taunting you with her still supple breasts, the temptation is overpowering.
-
Haha! I thought I was the only one a bit miffed by the bagpipes comment. Brilliant way to introduce yourself.

I've stuck £10 on us. Will I ever learn? -
Darren Ferguson? Alan Irvine (out our league). This appointment is going to be a hard one.

Well played Haggis. -
For me it's worse than McCall this time last season. McCall had three years of exceptional results behind him and the team with ojamma, higdon, Faddy, law, Humphrey etc were outstanding. So there was at least some hope that he had the capability to turn it round. Not at one single point during his tenure could I say I've seen a smart, shrewd or insight action by Baraclough. It's as he's living a real version of Football Manager. The guy needs to be sacked as soon as possible. We are quickly looking like the worst team in the league. For every day he's allowed to remain in his job, the damage becomes worse. The fans as a whole appear to be united in wanting this guy gone. The crowd for Saturday could be very low if nothing is done.

Got to be sacked. He has got to be.

You look at our position in comparison to Ross County's, who we were in a dogfight with last season. That's a team who have got their shit together whereas we have just trundled along being shite with the same mistakes, same weaknesses, same repetitive shite. It's intolerable. -

I can see this end 1-1 and then anything happening in extra time or I can see a 2-1 defeat for us. I don't think it'll be an outright pumping either way. But then again I thought we'd beat Hamilton. What the fuck do I know. -
I'm fed up hearing the phrases "kickstart" and "kick on".
-
It's getting me quite down now. The cycle seems to be, get pumped five or six on the trot, then scrape a couple of wins for some degree of redemption, get pumped five or six on the trot, then scrape a couple of wins for some degree of redemption and so forth.
-
I've stuck a tenner on a Well win.
-
We're going to win this tomorrow. No doubt. I'm thinking 2-0 to us. In fact if we don't win, you can all come round to mine and be sick on the bonnet of my car.
-
Good work at putting that together. But by fuck does it surprise me!

I don't buy into the "team needs to gel/time to settle" view. The starting line up yesterday had the following: Defence Hammell - he's been playing for this club pretty much since 1999 with a short one and a half year break in the middle of those 16 years. Law - he's into his second year with us now. Laing - he's been here since January 2015. McManus - he's been here for over 2 years. That's plenty of time for a defensive unit to gel. Given that they should spend around 4 or 5 hours together each day 6 days a week I'd expect that's enough time for professional footballers to be familiar with one another and how they play. Midfield Ainsworth - he's in his third year at Fir Park. Lasley - similarly to Hammell he's spent pretty much his whole time here. Taylor - granted he's brand new to his colleagues and us. Thomas - he's been in and around the team for at least a year now. He's been training with the first time for at least that period as well. Like the defence, these guys should be more than familiar with one another with the exception of Taylor. But one new guy can't be used as an excuse for an entire midfield 4 being incoherent. Attack McDonald - a bit like Laing in that he's not been here a huge length of time, but I consider it past the length that it can be used as an excuse. Moult - brand new. Like Taylor I can understand the argument that he needs time to bed in. With the exception of Taylor Moult and Ripley I don't think there is an excuse with regards to time for gelling. This team have played together for a decent amount of time. Certainly at least enough to form an overall cohesive unit with the odd exception. I actually think we've got a good set of players but we don't have a management team to utilise them properly. Someone earlier mentioned that Bararclough is a good scout and no more, that might just be right. The errors are consistent,?but we persist and persist.

Same. Feels like since 2007 we've been this team that eventually finish somewhere in the top 6. That's 8 years of good times. But this season I'm counting to 45. That's 45 points. I'll be happy to reach something that keeps us out that bottom 2 scenario.

I think he's being flippant/sarcastic.
