And people know what they are getting with Canterbury in the football market, looking at other strips they've done they have logos on the sleeves there too. Also, with some adidas strips you have three stripes from the neck down the sleeves, down the shorts, on the socks, plus their actual logo on the socks, shorts and top. (which by your reckoning would mean 30ish stripes on the strip) anyway, there were 5 bukta logos on the last season's strip, were you complaining about that?

My understanding was the voluntary regulations were only levied on Youth tops, hence why Rangers/Celtic/Etc sell youth tops with no logo, and we have the PHIL/WELL logo instead. Though the regulations are voluntary, most clubs and sponsors are doing it anyway as it'll no doubt become law soon anyway!
  3. are you good friends with your neighbours?! (also, nowt to do with me!)

I would incline to agree, but i think it was a nice touch for the year they had it.

I wasn't! Drove past about 1ish, and one of the shutters was down, in the other window was picture of a motherwell top with the badge in the middle, so my assumption is that that is the new strip!

would that be the strip that was on display in the well shop just after it closed this afternoon? quite basic, but very smart.

    So It Begins...

does seem quite a lot, so i did a quick calculation. The pipes in the photo look roughly a foot apart, and according to a site on the net, the Fir Park pitch is 110 x 75 yards. So that's 225 pipes (roughly) that are 110 yards long. That gives us a total length of 74250 feet, which is roughly 13.5 miles! That doesn't take into account the pipes that run along the ends on the ground and any extras since the pipes will no doubt run longer than the pitch.

because the system that is in place is a 100V line system, updating the speakers would have next to no affect. To get a decent result, you need to update the amps, speakers and (importantly) wiring.
  10. but they've removed some seats (roughly 600) to allow the pitch to be widened. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ian/8013299.stm

    Brian Mclean

tbh, the problem is more his injury record. he's not played a full season for us yet since signing permanently! 06/07 - 4 games 07/08 - 11 games 08/09 - 11 games (with 1 to play)
  13. has that been confirmed by the SFL? I remember reading somewhere else that the other option was a preliminary round with 4 or 6 teams so that the SPL teams would all enter at the usual times.
  14. it says in the article that the wigan game would be the only home game before the season starts, so to me that takes into account possible Europa fixtures.

dunno why, I'd always assumed it was Canterbury Clothing Company! That said, I've only really seen it referred to CCC in the last 12 months.

to be fair, our xara designs weren't unique!
  17. They're not going to have the holiday to get overweight!
  18. is it not to do with the current table? So any team that is currently an SPL team is eligible for the spot?!
  19. nah, real player is the problem! doesn't have the option to enter the proper uni proxies in!
  20. can't get the feeds working in uni, can't for the life of me remember how i got it working before! final score thing for me!
  21. just like in old school champman when you would make Brazil part of Uefa so you could have more than 3 foreigners in your team I assume the game would be played at either Airdrie, broadwood or Hamilton. Didn't Man City play their first European home game at Bradford because their pitch had been relayed after a concert? edit: quick google brings this up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Cup_2008–09 Note 9: Manchester City played their home game at Oakwell Stadium, home of Barnsley, because the pitch at their home ground needed to be relaid after a Bon Jovi concert.[12]
