Yesterday's result has got me feelin very positeive about the coming weeks, its all starting to come together all over the park: Saunders and Hutchinson look solid at the back, and they're only going to get better. Hutch is a real threat at corners too. Coke, Moutouakil and Humphreys on the right had some great wee pieces of link up play on the right wing yesterdat, was a joy to watch. Forbes and O'brien work great together on the left and through the middle and could be a great source of goals this season. Ross has already shown this and O'brien looks like he just needs a goal to open the floodgates. Sutton and Jutkiewicz were so in sync yesterday, they both won everything and look like a real promising partnership. With Murphy going through a similar transformation as Clarky did this time last year (from out and out striker to more of a winger) it looks like we could be banging them in soon. Mark Reynolds played a blinder at LB yesterday but not sure if he could replace hammel completely since his crossing isn't quite as good but he's more confident going forward with the ball i'd say.

either porter's equaliser against hearts in the cup, his goal against aberdeen to get into europe, darren smith against celtic or stephen Hughes' against hearts last season. That goal was a belter.

does no-one else think steven saunders at right back is another disaster waiting to happen? he gave the ball away too many times in that position last night; i think he's a great wee player but not at right back. I felt sorry for him when he got sent back out at RB last night after a difficult first half, Craigan should have been dropped to make way for him moving to centre back IMO. Admittedly Moutouakil didnt play great but he was out of position and could do a job at right back on saturday i reckon, especially up against Driver. ( i think he plays on the left aye?).

Steven Lawless (in the under 19s) was in my maths class at school... was pretty decent then, quite quick and a decent shot- suppose thats why he's a striker

While we had a few first-team scottish players missing, yesterdays starting 11 only had 3 scottish players in it. admittedly though, Murphy, Saunders, McHugh and Slane should feature a lot this season so its not too much of a worry. That boy Pollock looks pretty handy too

really excited about this one and i fancy our chances, hopefully hutchison is fit; can see him having a great game, keeping Boyd under control and maybe even pinchin the winner

I started goin when i was about 6 or 7 and my wee brother went at the same time so he must've been about 4. It helped that the two of us knew what was goin on a bit- we were the ones that wanted to go. dunno what we were like but the younger ones that sit round about me a re a fuckin pain in the arse, always always always up and down to the toilet/kiosk etc

he's no got a clue! if you look at the side he started in his last game when he was our manager and compare it to the team that will likely line up tomoro its night and day! Only remaining players are Craigan, Sutton, Hammell and O'Brien. Craigan isnt necessarily a certainty (although he played well last week), Hammell might not yet have managed to convince JG he's good enough for s atart after the howler he had in Perth and Sutton might not start to give Lukas a go. O'Brien should start based on the performances he's put in so far but you never know with Gannon. Muttley won't know whats fuckin' hit him!

looks decent to me, alhtough bit annoyed its only 6 months... didnt matter who we signed- it would always be a bit of a anticlimax after all this build up! cant wait to see him play.
