  1. Just saw them on SSN, didn't show the foul for the penalty but still fairly sure it was one. The second Hearts goal was embarrassing, Saunders just let Skacel walk by him. Third one was as easy a header as it looked from the other end of the park. Sutty's movement for both headers was fantastic, and a strong head to both. Hateley's free kick was dangerous looking, shades of his goal from the 6-6 game last year. Kello probably expected Sutton to get a touch to it so was left looking stupid when it went right in. MTW
  2. What a comeback Motherwell, just back in, heart is still racing! Amazing fight shown in the second half, could've won it but 3-3 will do nicely. Saunders came off just at the right time, he was having an unusually bad one and McCall saved him just in time. The penalty was stonewall, and a stupid one to give away. That's not to say Collum called anything else right, that guy is a clueless bastard and was doing his best to ruin the game. Some of the cards shown were baffling, and so were some of the ones that weren't shown. Terrible decisions given both ways; shouldn't get another game this season. Sutton was electric and Murphy and Jeffers threatened on the break every time, if we'd taken a few more chances it would've been a famous win but another terrific comeback was enough for me! Proud to be a well fan!
  3. Don't want to tempt fate or anything but imagine we won it and just like with 1991 they were still selling today's shirt in 20 years?! Might just be me that finds that surreal! At least it's a timeless shirt, especially without the sponsor on the hoop. Roll on May 21st!
  4. Would love to beat this mob in Edinburgh after being quite unlucky not to last time. Should go with a strong first 11 and try to blow them away early like st johnstone. Not too bothered about league position but would be nice to get a few wins in the top 6. Hate to say it though, but our bubble has to burst soon surely? Or is this just what having a good team in good form is?
  5. Can see where you're coming from but I can see a lot of people saying "we're supporting Motherwell, no Scotland". We don't need to match what they do, we can support our team just like we did yesterday, hunners of claret and amber, loads of noise and getting right behind the team. Rise above them and their hymns chants and songs about religious battles, drown them out with our own stuff. She wore....
  6. Think the outcome of todays game is win-win almost. Either team winning gives us a great chance of going into Europe: Celtic win and we could be in Europe before the day of the final, and on our day we could play Celtic off the park. Mind you, on their day they could humiliate us. Aberdeen win and we've got easier opposition who a lot of the boys don't even need to be fired up to play against. Beating those c***s would be just as sweet a result as I can imagine, to seal our first cup win in 20 years, and Europe for the fourth year running. HOWEVER, getting beat off Aberdeen is something that would take a long long long time to get over. Brown gloating after the match, then in the summer if they were in Europe, then at the start of the season again. All the more reason to pump them if they get there. If Celtic win today I'd like to see them beat Rangers next Saturday, and win their first 4 post split games. That way they'll have the league tied up before our SPL match against them, Europe will be tied up and we can focus on making real history and gubbing them at Hampden!
  7. Typed that in my phone and realised straight away it was wrong, couldn't do anything about it til now though
  8. Couple of negatives to start- casagolda was dire today, got his start and didn't really take the chance. Won't miss him. Thompson denied us what looked like an absolute stonewaller. The guys a wank and that was a sickener today. He got a few yellows out near the end which was alright but too little too late if you ask me. The line-up today looked weaker on paper but looked anythin but on the park. Good to see them fightin for the jersey in the most part. Unlucky to not put a few past Kello today but we.ll take a good bit of form in to the semis next Saturday! Murphy and Sutton looked well up for it when they came on, hope its the same next week. Good time to be a well fan!
  9. Maybe my perception of a good ref is just warped, he maybe wasn't that bad but he was just frustratingly inconsistent. Need to see the gunning one at the first goal again. He got the bookings right to be fair.

Like it so far, nice and simple, looking forward to getting claret and amber on the mobile version though *cough* good work gaag.
  11. some game, just on the bus home and pretty happy with it in the most part. when I saw the lineup I was thinking we were looking far too defensive, with 6 defenders starting but hamnell and gunning were great going forward and work well together. Lasley and Jeffers similar. Thought hately and Murphy on the other side were poor though. In the end some slack stuff let them back in despite us having loads of decent chances. Hopefully we can pump them at fir park but doubt the replay can match today, that second goal was beautiful! Probably sound like a broken record but the ref was howling today and those c***s played him especially swanson and goodwillie (who took the masses of abuse pretty well, deserved it though). Kenneth would have had a field day. Peter Houston is a total wank though, every time I see him I'm reminded. The guys a class 1 baldy twat.
  12. Feel a bit cheeky but aye, gaun then. Please.

  14. Aye, but he's been a bombscare for ages, time to phase him out slowly. Today's performance is perfect springboard to try something new. The 2 games against Rangers stand out for me, Craigan's just about lost the plot. I like him, and I took his side in the Gannon thing but he can't be guaranteed a place in the side with recent performances.
  15. oh aye, I managed to catch this. That'd how you take a penalty. Whooomph.
  16. YASSSS! Where did THAT come from Motherwell? Amazing performance, and great feeling at 90 minutes! Played them off the park at times, and although we were shakey at times everyone gave 100% and fought for the ball; its all about want sometimes! Celtic looked stick on for the win with some decent players in their team but we matched them and then some, Sutty took his chances well (including the "offside" one that wouldve put us 2-0 up before half time) and won everything in the air. Some penalty as well btw. FWIW I wouldnt change the first XI too soon, the back four looked solid and the midfield were fucking everywhere, Forbes had his best game in C&A in over a year. I'm not normally in favour of loan players getting a start over our own young players, but Craigan can stay on the sidelines. Gunning is stronger, quicker, taller and probably more aware of the game around him and should walk in to the first 11. Saunders should be ahead of Craigan at CB now as well. All in all, great performance and a great win. Felt fantastic to get it up their fans, Neil Lennon and that twat of a ref. He was fuckin howling. MTW!
  17. 4 forwards against the old firm? Can't quite see it happening. Especially after the 5 at the back debacle at ibrox

not really true, Lasley, O'donnell and Hughes very rarely played in the same midfield, McGarry probably featured just as heavily if not moreso than Lasley at times, and he was playing as a 'winger' I'd say, with McCormack doing similar. But we had options to switch to a narrow midfield when needed. Fair enough under Brown we were pretty much "if Plan A doesn't work we're fucked".
  19. Took the Juke and Blackman (and O'brien to some extent) a while to find their touch and get onto form. Casagolda never really got going. Jeffers looks like he's comfortable and pretty confident already, can only be a good thing. Gaun yersel Franny.
