Thats the managers email oot. Not sure what to make of it. Yesterday was a sore one, all the goals were lost in a similar way so something needs to be addressed urgently.
Sounds like Pernis is fucked and we should really be making the most of it, Humphrey's playing well so hopefully some decent balls in and we can put the pressure on them second half. Barely heard Forbes or Murphy mentioned so far
He always looks like he could get sent off, never scared to get in amongst it. Nothing out of the ordinary from him last night. The ref on the other hand...
Missed the game because i was on holiday and even though it was one of our biggest games in my lifetime im glad i did. I wouldve been sick had i been at it.
no start for him sadly, according to STV this is the first XI
Scotland team to play the Faroe Islands: Gordon, Bardsley, S Caldwell, Wilson, Crainey, Commons, Fletcher, Adam, Bannan, Maloney, Mackie.
Sportsound just now, the penny finally drops with Gordon Smith at least- "Mark Reynolds is a better player than Gary Kenneth."
This other fanny is suggesting Wilson should start under the basis that we should play the best 11 players in the country at the moment.
Also, Derek Riordan? Clinical forward getting dropped for Kevin Kyle. WHY?
I would personally have murphy in ahead of that wee prick Goodwillie but he is a good player. He's scored more than murphy this season (only in the league though) and is on a bit of a streak. Plus its obvious who speckie's gonna chose. Doesn't make it alright mind you.
I'd have Saunders in this squad ahead of Hammell but Reynolds is streets ahead of both. That squad is crying out for a left sided defender. He's lost the fuckin plot
Finding it harder and harder to take any interest in the national team now. So many players who are either shite or I just can't stand when they play against us. And these are the guys chosen to represent us on a national stage. Get fucked Levein.
as far as atmosphere from the hibs fan goes, at one point they told us to "go home ya h**s" thats the kind of shite they need to come up with to get it going by the sounds of it
Craig's coming across as a bit of shite-bag in all of this, he really should've at least had a word to say against McDonald, he was howling today. And he's not honest either, that in itself is a lie.
Expected so much better today, terrible defence cost us. Hibs took their chances and we didn't despite having all the pressure. Riordan should still have been suspended from last week in my eyes but alas we gifted them 2 goals and couldn't put them away at the other end (unlike Wednesday). Out of third place since the last time we were in Edinburgh, hopefully we'll be back up before long. Forwards lacked their usual edge this week but nobody stood out as being terrible. Gow slipped a bit though just when he looked like he'd turned the corner. Wait and see I suppose.
Didn't affect the outcome but Dougie McDonald fucked up. A lot. We had 5 players booked without making a tackle as he lost control of the game. Hibs had one maybe two red-card worthy tackles at the end, was sure someone was gonna walk but he shat it.
Can't actually believe anyone is surprised by this! Seriously, I'm the most optimistic well fan there is but to think we'd spend any amount of money on a player is nuts! When did we last buy a player for any amount of money worth mentioning? Its been like this for years and we should be used to it.
Billy Reid was complaining everytime yesterday when the ball went out of play behind our goals and a different ball came back into play. Was hampering his time-wasting tactics. Guy's a fanny.
Forbes v Hamilton as well? That might've been in Novmber actually. Murphy missed one against Odense. O'Briens was back at the start of last season (2009).
Cannae be bothered analysing that. SHITE referee ruined an already SHITE game. Can't believe we pay money to watch a team of hackers shove us off the ball, get a cheap goal and cheat their way through the next 70 minutes as we punt ball after ball upfield. About a quarter of the game must've been spent watching Thomas Cerny take goal kicks, absolutely raging at the performance today (motherwell and the referee). Still third though so not all bad.
