Thought Gow's abuse was undeserved he had some great tocuhes but was just a bit rusty- thats only gonna improve with match practice. He did Sutton's job today and better I reckon and I'm a fan of Sutton.

Maribor's stadium is pretty cool, new built and holds just over 10,000 i think. WOn loads of architectural awards and is used for other events (music, performances etc) something along those lines would be nice!

Pretty pleased with the result today, we were all over them first 20 minutes or so, thought we'd be out of sight but it wasn't to be. My pal's a st mirren fan and was in the south stand today said they made us look like Arsenal. Bit flattering but we CAN put some decent stuff together. In the end I think we tried to be too fancy today and walk it in when we could have torn them apart just by going straight through the middle of them. Murphy was pretty decent if quiet but Hately, Blackman and Lasley were poor I think. The midfield kept seeming to disappear especially when the ball was being punted out by the keepers. Hopefully we'll get the tactics sorted for the Rangers game otherwise they could do horrible things to us.

My favourite away game by a mile. Some amazing games there in recent years, even when we don't win and the fans are always packed in, great stadium.

That was FUCKING AMAZING. We were frustrating to start with but we tore the arse out of those Jambo scumbags. Was fantastic game and a fantastic atmosphere. That should put to bed any of the pish about the "wee neds wae smoke bombs", they played a huge part today those wee neds! Every supporter and player should be proud and as delighted as I am! Absolutely magic motherwell, cannae keep the smile off my face walkin about Edinburgh tonight! Get it right up ye FHW. PS I won 40 quid betting Blackman to score first and 'Well to win 2-0, fucking buzzing!

Just watched the highlights there, and im a bit annoyed at the way Bamba goes in on Randolph for their second, never mind the hand ball. He's basically going in for a slam dunk! he's got his huge arm swinging in the air ready to clatter him as the ball comes in, I know you're allowed to challenge the keeper and I get annoyed when keepers are over-protected but thats a fuckin joke

Enjoyed the game today, mostly becuase it was good to get back to the league for a bit even though the result wasnt great. Some decent performances, everyone put in a shift but a couple of daft mistakes and the midfield just completely disappearing in second half was our downfall. Saunders (and on ocassion humphrey) seem like the only guys capable of whipping in a decent ball for headers in the box, and for all the wee breaks he gets Lasley really needs to learn how to shoot. The new guys look pretty good, and we ended up with 4 forwards on the park and made some chances even if we couldnt finish them off. Hibs are NOT a great side, Stokes and Riordan apart there's not a talented footballer in that side IMO. They're good going forward but at the back they're howling and rely on pushing, pulling, climbing on and hacking the forwards. Thompson shafted us the entire game (apart from on this new ruling he's been explicitly told to enforce) and so it wasn't a level playing field. With him in charge you don't need to play football, just stop the other side from doing so. Pretty raging at that.
