  1. We played him up front against St Mirren last season (the midweek game away from home) and he was dire. Not his fault, its just not his position and Brown admitted it. As a right-back he's not bad going forward but at the back he's not got a clue how to tackle- he got destroyed in the second half of the post split game vs Dundee United at FP. Play him at right-mid cos he's the best we've got there. He's fast enough to beat anyone and his crossing isnt that bad.

    Euro Proggy

nah it was a brilliant read, no doubting the quality of the articles, just some daft mistakes ie "...half a season under Craig Brown, clinching fourth place in the table after a final 180 minutes of the season which were packed with drama". That just stood out as an obvious one also, there was no picture of the programme from the Katowice game just saying....

    Euro Proggy

Definitely a lot of decent reading in tonight's programme but I have to ask- does nobody proof-read these things?
  4. is it just me or is the away one extremely boring without any kind sponsor?
  5. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/index.php?op...&Itemid=136 love the home shirt but a sponsor could make or break it
  6. anybody worried yet?

    Season Tickets

you could get 20 games in a season though, if we get a home cup tie and manage to get 19 home games and 19 away games. or even 20 home games (doubt it though) plus a cup tie would be 21 games!

  12. Tell all the dons ye ken that we're goin' to europe again! We'll be drinkin' sangria while they're stuck with Mcghee- and pickin wool off each others bell-ends
  13. No really that excited... its not quite set in yet! But we're all goin on a european tour AGAIN!!
  14. Can't really agree with that, especially in the business end of the season he's had a few howlers. Still, he's done well to bounce back after falling out of favour a bit with Gannon

    Well Done

great post. great season and one i've thoroughly enjoyed (almost) every minute of. Managed to get to almost every game this season and hopefully the result will go our way next saturday and give us a a pop at the europa league. I love this club
  16. Any recommendations for pubs in edinburgh showing the game? FIrst game on tele since moving here. really dont want to end up surrounded by hoardes of the unwashed...
  17. that retro mock up is awesome. Hope we can keep the hoop! This seasons shirts are really nice so i hope we dont change them too much! Had the puma czech republic shirt a couple of years back, one of the nicest ones i've ever owned. Fingers crossed they come up with the goods. Any idea when it'll be unveiled?
  18. might just be a mistake, but that more than sums up how that goal felt

  22. the last few pages of that are hilarious hahahaha. just watched the highlights agin. must be into triple figures now
  23. cup final was a few months before i was even born but even watchin it on DVD is pretty exciting stuff. as for the Killie match in the 70s, I hadn't even heard of it til last night on the boards... not that it wasnt an amazing game.
  24. Now that the dust has settled I can safely say that's the best game I've ever been to. just beat the 2-2 draw vs Hearts at Tynecastle 2 years ago in the cup. Funnily enough both games were draws! Just wondering if other people feel the same or if I'm the only one still caught up in the emotion of it all!
