  1. I've certainly seen reports of a further medical from in the know/reliable sources. Don't dispute that part. But, I've seen nothing specific about a dodgy knee other than on twitter, and then following that the usual online news sources which seem to just hoover up opinion and present it as fact. Could well be true but we should be careful talking about it and presenting it as fact on these types of forums before we know everything.
  2. This whole chat about a 'dodgy knee'...not seen any in the know source report that. So I'm guessing it's just the usual online/social media show ball effect?
  3. You've got to wonder what this issue is that has come up. Very odd and unfortunate this whole saga has been quite public in the press etc. As for the medical: - Has to be either be something longstanding, which seems unlikely as he played every game last season once he was in and as far as I know has no injury history Or - An injury that has happened at the time of medical or something. Which is also unlikely given its pre season but if so would incredibly unlucky. The quicker this is resolved, either way, with an agreed explanation, for player and club the better.
  4. Posted from one of these fake agent accounts with 1500 followers. Nonsense.
  5. Flying down south to complete medical today with Celtic club doctor and his agent. Will join up with Celtic team after that. Apparently.
  6. From reading about Sloth he has had a bit of success in a role playing behind the stiker too. It will be a case of trying it out I'd think and if it doesn't work the manager will look at a new formation to use the players he has.
  7. Cant wait for the Turnbull deal to go through, money in the bank and the no. 9 speculation to start...
  8. He started following The Celtic Bible about an hour ago by the looks of it...
  9. Slightly different as its cross border apparently. So, Fifa guidelines kick which works out as €300k + 5% sell on. Unless we agree on something else with the acquiring team of course. Also, just to provide an example to thr critics on here that it seems to only be us that cant hold on to promising youngsters: http://www.talkingbaws.com/2019/06/bayern-reportedly-close-to-signing-celtic-youngster-liam-morrison/
  10. I'd have thought we would be due more than that. Been with us since 8 and over 100 appearances Edit: Could be right Stuwell. Maybe take a bit lower + sell on as a agreement.
  11. Add ons and sell on are there. The actual fee is up for a bit of guessing, as low as 2.4m to 3.25m quoted.
  12. That's miles off the reports in the press. As unlikely as it seems, deal very much still a possibility is what I am hearing.
  13. I'm pretty sure David wont be annoyed at the club or his agent in this situation at all. Bit odd to think he would be.
  14. Absolute banter - I love it. As someone else said, I dont think anyone has really done much wrong here in my eyes. Club accepted a great bid and wanted to control the story and let us know rather than it coming via the papers. They didnt say it was a done deal. Just they agreed a fee. Fine. Celtic have offered what they think is right. Fine. Turnbull and advisors have considered and said no thanks. Fine. He might still go to them I guess with some other talks but I'm guessing down south is now the destination.
  15. We have grown men and women having full on melt downs and refusing to renew season tickets....good luck with getting some to see the bigger picture!
  16. Tinfoil at the ready boss. Strap me in.
  17. Morgan or Johnstone is what the press are reporting. In general terms, not specific to those two names, I'm not a huge fan of loans from other teams in the league (no matter who the team are) if its purely to send back and stops our youth coming through. On the other hand if it's a good player and we have no one better or ready in said position then I'd maybe be tempted.
  18. I like most of it to go into youth academy and training facilities. I'm quite happy with my seat in the POD. Rather money wasnt spent on that to be honest. Certainly not a million quid to upgrade it. The bucket seats do look shite mind you. As for the safe standing bit suggested, if the fans that sit there contribute then crack on but I wouldn't want to see club money used for it. The killie one is fan funded.
  19. The Sun reporting interest from Oxford this evening.
  20. Pro Legal Group. They also represent Cadden at the club. Andy Robertson, Stuart Armstrong, Ryan Christie, Alan McGregor a few other notables.
