  1. EDIT: Deleted. Wrong thread
  2. It's a good point. Dunno.
  3. Aye, Ya Bezzer is right. The rest are until end of June. This is a good and accurate site for info: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/motherwell-fc/vertragsende/verein/987 Given they are all loans I sure we can get another week out of them if required.
  4. Probably right but it seems to be a big 'if' on overcoming injury rather than a definite.
  5. It's not worked out well for him at all but if he had been fit and then played the way he played in his last first team appearance we would have been on to a winner. He totally bossed that game (well the 45 min or however long he was on for). Probably not a contract I would renew though.
  6. Much like the Sutton argument in that if they are both (Sutton and Vigura) used in the right way they can be influential. If not then they usually dont contribute much. But, do we want to build a team and game plan around them? That's what will probably decide their fate.
  7. Are you John Sutton? You love defending him to the hilt. He can hardly kick it straight sometimes - that's just a fact.
  8. McCall: 7 points from 36 possible = 0.19 per game Baraclough: 20 points from 51 possible = 0.39 per game Stats are great.
  9. Sutton gets a bit of the blame because at times he didn't look like a footballer. A fucking abomination of a player who couldn't even pass the ball yesterday.
  10. I said before the game I would have preferred Thomas out wide to start but was ok with Erwin out wide and Sutton up top. That was mainly due to us reverting to that in the last couple of games mid game. Did not work today AT ALL. Thistle stuck 2, sometimes 3, players on each one of ours most of the game. We couldn't get round that and just lumped long balls aimlessly. Terrible. Tactics wrong, individual performances poor, decision making and determination on the park very much in question. Shite.
  11. If Johnson and Pearo are fit then same team as midweek. If Pearo is out then Grant in. If Johnson is out then I would be tempted to go for Thomas from the start. But would be happy enough to see Erwin out wide and Sutton up top. I'd rather we didnt play Grant out wide. I think we will win and keep a clean sheet. Two nil to us.
  12. Where is that news from? Wasn't mentioned in the press conference or the pre match email? EDIT: Just saw the ByTheMinMFC twitter account posted it. Is that the source?

    Baraclough Out

Agree with all of that but I'd also say Johnson and Erwin have both been influential and the signing of the former and confidence to play the latter are all Baraclough.

    St Mirren

McManus for me as he won absolutely everything and talked all game. He needs to do that every week.
  15. Echo what everyone has said - superb all over the park. Thomas ripping Goodwin a new one and a goal coming from it was superb. Big mention to George Long for coming back from a honking performance and doing the basics correctly. McManus and Laing superb and strong throughout. All of Midfield and Attack excellent! ...and I took Paddy Power to the cleaners. Had us at -1, Win and Skippy to score, Win both halves. £250 - bosh!
  16. Only change I would make is Johnson back in for Grant if fit. Bara said he thought Hammell would get an U20 game this week so it would be nice if the reason he didn't play yesterday was that he is just going to put him in the team tonight! I would also take that change! I wouldn't change out Long. He is on a par with Twardzik in my eye - no better/no worse. Therefore, I think it is better to keep the defensive unit together rather than change it for a goalie who is pretty much the same. If St Mirren go with the tactic to rain balls in on top of Long then they would do exactly the same at Twardzik if he came in.
  17. Does not sound like Skippy or Ainsworth are having a great game at all.
  18. LongLaw Laing McManus Straker Ainsworth Las Pearo Grant Skippy Erwin
  19. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B001N2ER9O?me=&ref=olp_product_details There is a user copy for sale on Amazon. £29.99 though.
  20. Fair play to both Cowan and Hearts. Neither had to do it.
  21. Same team as we played v Accies. It's working well so no need to break it up. Agree with the point above about Pearson. He was superb last Friday and is just as important as McDonald in the rejuvenation of the team in my eyes. A settled back 4 also has helped.
