Oh aye - so they do. Missed that.
-
Maybe...possibly. But not guaranteed until Accies or Motherwell say so.

We will be seated in the North stand (behind goals) with no overflow available to the gazebo. North stand holds 2100 so seems that will be plenty fine.
-
Good first half, forced them to change it as Ainsworth was ripping them a new one. Once they matched up to us we found it tough but the pleasing thing was we dug in and didn't concede. Solid games from most. Stand outs for me where Ainsworth (first half), McManus, OB, Law and Lasley.

EDIT: Manager just confirmed formation of n audioboom. Dan Reid OB McManus Hammy Lasley Ramsden Ainsworth Law Ojamma Sutton

Partick had a great win up in Inverness with a draw either side against Dundee and Killie and you can't ignore that. But, I think our win last week will be a big confidence boost to the boys. Couple that with us playing a different system to what Partick faced last time and I think we will be competitive enough to edge it. If Hammell and Vigurs are fit enough I would have them in the team. Same for Moore but on the bench. Dan Law O'Brien McManus Hammell Carsy Lasley Ainsworth Vigurs Ojamma Sutton Going with Sutton as he tends to score in gluts when he has confidence (and a supply). I'd like to see Erwin, Thomas and Moore all get a decent spell from the bench too.

I do think the possession game he wants to implement is the right thing to do and will work for us BUT it's not the only way to play for 90 mins. I was actually very pleased with Saturday.
-
I kind of agree. I like the patient build up play if we have the ability to do it. But, There was a time for more direct play yesterday and if we can do that at the right time while keeping possession and knocking it about the majority of the time I would be happy.

I was a few seats away. I found it fairly funny yeaterday compared to my past experience at Killie. It's just mental. Even his mates were calling him out on a few things.

I have been critical of Sutton and Lasley all season more than any other player. Lasley, I thought yesterday, did a lot to convince me has a role to play and can do it well if not asked to run about like a mentalist and cover every blade of grass. Some people didn't think he played well yesterday and while he was not passing forward a lot he did link up a lot of our play and I thought was vital. Sutton, for me, can still do more than he did yesterday and be a better link up player. But I thought he improved a little and if we get it in the box more he will stick it away. Mon the big man I say If Barraclough plays our players in the correct positions for them (Lasley, law 2nd half), gets across his system which I think he has quite a bit already, and the players take it on board then we could be on to a winner without having to change too much personnel. One thing I thought yesterday - 100% effort for the full game and a confidence to move it about. Something we haven't seen all season.

Smash and grab nothing. I think we deserved those 3 points. Our possession was good and we knocked it about very well. St Mirren made it tough by clogging up the middle of the park so we went sideways a lot. A definite system was being played by Baraclough and at the end of the day it worked. We need to work on linking that decent possession up to the forwards. Pass marks to a lot of the players today - thought Lasley played his Sitting role well (and I have been a harsh critic of him this season) , Law was good, defence solid.

The way I see it; *Paying for a season ticket , buying a shirt etc is a product that I pay for to enjoy and of course it keeps the club in business to an extent. I am a customer *Joining the society goes towards gaining society club ownership and as a society member I will have a say in how the club is run (to an extent) Loads of the answers to the other questions, all you mention which are valid, I think come later down the line. That said, if It is a stumbling block for you joining it's something the society need to think about addressing as you won't be the only one.

Nae need to apologise just pointing it out for anyone else reading.

Remember that it would 33% - 50% of the 70 % majority shareholding not 100%. When the WS do takeover it will be Les Hutchisons shares they will take (previously John Boyle's) not everybody else's too.

A good communication from the Well Society, part 1 - confirming some details, at a high level, around the deal with Les in regards how works ownership in the short term, the loan element explained a little more and what it means moving forward. Part 2 to come. http://www.thewellsociety.co.uk/category/news/

I go for this formation every game with nearly the same personnel. Seems sensible to me. Hopefully Bara thinks the same. However, Hammy is prob out so need to be someone else there

wellsociety@motherwellfc.co.uk It's in the text above the form on the site.

Aye, but a pub the club can run and benefit from. We should get a bouncy castle in the cooper and rebrand it a fan zone too.

As are Ipswich, Millwall and Blackpool apparently.

BBC Gossip: Former Motherwell, Celtic and Bristol City midfielder Stephen Pearson is considering a return to Scottish football after rediscovering his form at Indian side Kerala Blasters, who are managed by his former City team-mate David James. (The Sun) Re-visiting old ground, I know, but if available in Jan and wages do-able would you consider signing him?

Get on it. Aye!

Haha. Maybe true - but worth a five spot is it not?! https://www.betvictor.mobi/?btagid=#/sports/3/meetings/142051798/events/514876600

Given Ramsden, Kerr, Reid, Ferguson and Law will still be here post Xmas...spending another wage on what seems, on the face of it, to be a player of a similar level should not be the priority.

Very similar to Jim McMahon and Derek Weir then I'd say currently. However, I think that gap has been realised already and I am confident the remaining board members and the new board members Hutchison will bring in will be that guidance, sounding board and advisor. That guidance and advisory starts with Hutchison working through a new business plan with the general manager in Barbados as we speak.
