Yeah, this, also its about the bookies reacting to what others are doing too. It's amazing in a small market how people can move up and down in the odds. All it takes is a paper to print something or a tip to go around twitter or a bit of word of mouth and things can snowball for a few days. To show the fluctuation - Adams went through 6 changes in bet price yesterday at SkyBet. So, I would say it has been someone taking a punt and then others going on the back of that I would think. Adams started at 4/1 on 3rd Nov, then went out to 14/1 by 10th November and has came back in over a couple of days to 1/2. At Paddy Power Solano is 13/2 but at Bet Victor he is out at 12/1...big difference in companies as well. I wouldnt read too much into it but I can understand the slight concern if you don't like Adams as he is by far the favourite at the bookies today.

A good playing CV but no Managerial CV. No thanks.

How much money do you expect to be paid on a monthly basis? A key one for us!
-
I wouldn't read too much into it. Solano is 2nd favourite but I am sure that is purely being driven through the press coverage which then translates into punters sticking money on it and the odds going down. There won't be a lot of money being wagered on the Next Motherwell Manager market so all it will take will be a someone getting a tip and then it starts to build momentum...Billy Stark is now 20/1 and we all thought he was a big contender...still could be.

Just the 2 changes: Celtic home game now 12.45, same day Aberdeen home game on 4th Jan now 15.30, same day

Struggling with this one. Everyone is underperforming and our experienced players arent vocal enough on the park....but we can't drop everyone! I'd go... Twardzik Ramsden Kerr McManus Hammell Reid Carswell Ainsworth Ojamma Vigurs Erwin McManus stays in but only because all our players who can play centre back are pretty much of a muchness in my eyes. Kerr in instead of OB for a bit of pace but not much in it. We need the back 4 to be settled and get a run of games together too. Reid and Carsy will run all day and tackle hard. We need them to help the defence out and Lasley and Leitch can't do that role in my eyes. 3 behind Erwin. Ojamma a no brainer...no one else to replace Ainsworth so he starts and Vigurs always has an element of threat and can open up a defence. Erwin up top as Sutton isn't doing it. ZFA unfortunate to miss out as his attacking play was decent on Saturday.

From what I read before I think the setup is that McCall is answerable to the board of directors rather than one individual such as a chief exec like we had previously. The general manager role I wouldn't think would have the responsibility to directly line manage the playing side of the club but would have overall responsibility of managing all other elements (e.g. media, housekeeping, catering, support staff etc).

What usual back 4? The one with Hammell or Zfa or Reid at left back? Or Ramsden , Kerr or Reid at right back? Or, in fact the one with McManus, Kerr, O'Brien or Ramsden in the middle? The back 4 has been all over the shop this season.

Great stuff.

Quinn is about to sign for Hibs after being released by Doncaster
-
I get what your saying but: Law was signed before we heard about Woods and is a different type of player. He is a left winger and Law is right footed and versatile enough to be a good squad player. Reid signed before Quinn got released We all would have taken Ojamma before Clarkson given the 2 options? Seems Clarky has hit the ground running though in a in form team. McDonald...aye, fair enough

Scotsman: FORMER Motherwell full-back Paul Quinn is set to be given a route back into football by Championship side Hibernian The 29-year-old, who left Fir Park for Cardiff City in 2009, spent three years in South Wales before moving to Doncaster Rovers in 2012 and then agreeing a two-year deal with the Keepmoat Stadium club the following year until the summer of 2015. However, he left at the beginning of this season by mutual consent and has been looking for a club ever since his departure from the South Yorkshire-based League One club. Easter Road manager Alan Stubbs has invited Quinn in for training at the Edinburgh club's East Mains training complex and talks over a deal started yesterday with a positive conclusion predicted before Saturday's home game against Dumbarton. Should Quinn sign on the dotted line, he will be seen as competition for Hibs' vice-captain David Gray.

Score? Not confident but we need a win! I would line up: Dan Reid McManus OB Hammell Ainsworth Lasley Leitch Vigurs Ojamma Sutton I have been very critical of Las thus far but I do think he is needed in there. Ojamma behind Sutton...not out wide and dropping deep.

From the man himself: McFadden was also keen to reassure interested parties who might be put off by his reported wage demands or the injury issues which held him back last season. He said: “I’ve not had a lot of offers from Scotland but I’ve spoken to a couple of clubs. When I went back to Motherwell a director was paying my wages. “It looked like I was on a fortune but I wasn’t. I came back to play football – not for money. “It wasn’t a great sum of money although maybe teams are put off by that. A lot of the time I wasn’t fully fit last season. During pre-season I picked up a knock on my hamstring and thought it was just tightness from my back. Forgetting Law for a minute and putting nostalgia aside...Faddy was shit last season in the main (to his standards and also to anyone else's) and also barely fit. He was also funded by a director. Kris Jack on twitter put it well for me: Wee bit of lover's remorse re Faddy signing for St Johnstone. OK with not having him at MFC, but don't want him with anyone else #gay4faddy

It all goes back to our terrible state of fitness prep pre season. God knows what we would be like had we played some more Europa games.

I'd agree with that. I can see it in flashes but he hasnt done enough yet to nail down a first team place for me. I'd probably go: Dan Kerr OB McManus Reid Ainsworth Lawson Carswell Vigurs Erwin Ojamma Goalie and back 4 seem pretty solid so would keep as is. Lasley has been pish all season needs dropped and Lawson deserves a chance I think. Carswell back in in place of Leitch as he is more solid. Law dropped. Ainsworth and Vigurs stay in as they offer it in flashes and can change a game but havent convinced thus far but we dont really have any other options out wide apart from ZFA/Cadden/Thomas and I would be inclined to bring them off the bench rather than start them Sutton out for a rest - Erwin and Ojamma in.
-
Aye, there was a coin toss which Accies won, they chose the end and we got to take the first penalty.
-
I'll admit I was one of them. From his couple of goals and decent bits of play early season I thought he would kick on...but he hasn't.
-
YAS!
-
Have to agree with all of that.
-
Wisnae askin you
-
He didn't - it was Ramsden. Sutton and Ojaama had already taken their penalties and scored. We were left with Ramsden, Reid, Kerr, Lasley or Dan to take.

Where you there? Where do you think it went wrong? Just for the sake of discussion.
