Can't agree fully with that. He does offer something when pushed up the field but just not a regular enough basis and tends to drop out of games when not in a confident mood. He created more than several exciting moments when playing left mid and contributed 3 goals last season. He is never a left back though

Burke would be good. Not maybe reaching the number of goals scored but a good creative winger.

He is only 30 and could be knocking 20+ a year in for someone for a few years yet I reckon.

Dan had a good 5 games with us granted but if we signed him as our first choice keeper it would not fill me with confidence. In my opinion, like Hollis, he just isn't big enough to be a world class goalie. If you are 5'11'' you need to be an unbelievable keeper like Casillas otherwise you are on a hiding to nothing. There are few times this season we have lost a goal with Hollis in nets that Randolph and Ruddy would have got to simpy because they were bigger units. I'd wager after a few games the same people clambering for him on here would be bemoaning the fact he has shipped goals too. If he does sign then I'll be behind him all the way though!

Agree with pretty much all of that. I reckon we will keep all of the out of contracts but Hutchy with Hollis released. If we can release a few of the in contracts you mentioned and replace with better then all would be perfect. In reality I think we will predominately the same squad.

Yep its been mentioned before. The defence is lacking a keeper just not as good as Randolph/Ruddy but also lacks, in most games, any sort of cover from our wingers. Add that to some of the normal kamikaze defending and it equals a lot more conceded goals!

His save from the freekick meant we did not concede. Things arent all bad.
