That is what I thought but SPFL rules appear to say different. Just edited my last post there - happy to be proved wrong!

What is the age limit to getting money for a development fee - I am sure it is players under the age of 24? If that is the case then Hutchy would bag us some cash given we have had him since he was 18 or so EDIT - In fact, I think it is 23 given the SPFL rules. So looks like we might be scuppered Compensation F3 Compensation shall be payable to the former Club of a Player only where the Player concerned is Registered with his new Club at or before the end of the first Season in which the Player concerned reaches, will reach or shall have reached the age of 23. At the end of the day they are similar but different players. Both valuable for what they do. Ainsworth is better at Humphrey going forward - better at shooting, crossing and at set pieces. But Humphrey worked harder and tracked back a lot more. For me, I'd rather have a winger like Ainsworth who is creating and scoring more goals. Humphrey's stats 09/10 - 0 goals, 2 assists 10/11 - 4 goals, 5 assists 11/12 - 2 goals, 4 assists 12/13 - 3 goals, 8 assists Ainsworth stats 13/14 - 9 goals, 6 assists

Hard one...ent for McManus as didn't put a foot wrong and sorted out a couple of sticky situations as well. Mentions though for Nielsen, Hammell, Lasley.
-
Would agree with the summation. Ainsworth and Vigurs played well but both dropped out it in the second half so we could had done with some new blood on the park to replace them. That said, McCall made the right change by taking Faddy off. It took away our creativity but shored it up by sticking in an extra midfielder. Good win.

Moore is fit if that is what you were meaning? Came off the bench at Hibs.
-
I'd agree - he does look more of a goal threat. But I'd rather we had Vigurs and Ainsworth pushing forward which leaves gaps and to fill them we need another blocker/tackler in beside Lasley. Leitch from the bench gives us options and if in the remaining games he gets a bit of a game time he could very well develop that hardness in his game for next season and claim a starting spot. I'd also like to see the likes of Moore, Cadden and Thomas getting extended game time for the same reasons.

Anier isn't fit, just back training.
-
On the official site now - Hollis out for a month, Gunnar back from an ankle knock, Hammell, ZFA and Carswell back too. Erwin and Anier back training as well. (http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2014/03/17/injury-setback-for-hollis/) For me, I would go back to 4-4-2 Gunnar Reid-McManus-Hutchy-Hammell Ainsworth-Carswell-Lasley-Vigurs Faddy-Sutton Leitch did well in the middle but would be happier giving him 20/30mins from the bench with a view to next season.

Was this lad just on Soccer AM in the audience? Sure I seen him behind Pat McGroin!

Cup winners - 2nd qualifying round 2nd place - 2nd qualifying round 3rd place - 1st qualifying round If cup winners already in Europa League then 4th place gets the spot. It's only when the cup winner is in the champions league that the losing finalist gets the europa league spot. Splstats describes the situation. So, chances are we will be in europe from the get go.

If you look at the 3rd goal build up it is McManus caught way up the park (over the half way line) and out of postion. Murray has to deal with 2 players and by the time McManus gets back its too late to then move out to block Heffernan on the left. Not much Murray could have done in my opinion.

To move away from the negative...some of our attacking play was superb yesterday. Vigurs, Faddy and Ainsworth look like they are really starting to click. Hope they all stay fit and it could be a great run in.
-
Vigurs for me too. Involved in most of our decent attacks, some exquisite touches, ran all day and tracked back. Couple of times he switched off but very rarely. Probably Faddy second but was greedy at times when he didnt need to be.
-
I agree in part as it does invite the attacks but we lost the two goals due to the defenders AND the goalie not dealing with the goals.

Banning a drum is different from refusing people entry. Team need a good support so I will be there.

+1. Solid, good tackle.

Back when I was at high school (holy cross, hamilton) one of the principle teachers was a dundee utd youth scout. Due to that there were a lot of boys went for trials and played for them. So that may have taken them from us. That said McManus, Brian Dempsoe, David Clarkson and John Crawley were all in my year or below and didnt go there so maybe not actually...
-
I do agree we need to develop kids but Ainsworth is 26 and Sutton just turned 30. Needs to be a mix of age and experience I reckon. 4 or 5 older heads with youth around them would fine for me.
-
I sit behind the dugouts and was right in front of it. It was a full blooded tackle but Higginbotham got a full foot on the ball. Las looked like he caught his studs in the turf at the same time and twisted his knee rather than Higginbotham actually catching him. Hammell was giving him spme afters but nobody else seemed to bother much.

Tim Krul pulling a couple of Gunnar saves out the bag tonight leading to 2 goals.
-
Second that. Got straight back to me yesterday on my query.
-
Aye, I got one and will be signing up to the £10 a month scheme. It's ideal for me and my budget. Emailed Well Society and got a reply from Alison straight away explaining a bit more: The monthly instalment would be for an amount and over a period to fit in with your budget until the level you choose to take is fully paid eg steel membership would be fully paid after 30 months at £10 per month. The renewal payment would be an optional payment at £50 per year after that, in order for you to receive the benefits. Regardless of whether you renew annually or not, you will always be a member and receive a vote! If after the 30 months you wish to continue with your monthly payment, you could aim to pay the difference to take you to the next level-claret.

Couldn't go on the Saturday so suits me fine.

I agree with this. Yes, shite save and should do much better but where were the defenders tracking the runs at both Celtic Park and at the weekend. Neilson definitely culpable but others also.
