High tempo, close them down, keep it simple defensively, watch the wings, dont always pump it long (sometimes it will have its place) and we will get chances. Take them and we can do this. Not sure you can assume he's in a high % if you won't let someone else assume he's on a low % of his Hearts wage...you got the first sentence spot on though. One thing's for sure though...I'm yet to be convinced he's the type of player who will do well off the bench and from what I've seen he's not going to be starting. Hope to be proved wrong though as it is only August after all.

Sammon isn't going back to Hearts this window. You're going to need to make peace with that. If Miller arrives at Fir Park I will be physically sick.

With Bowman back next week, and Main/Johnson, looking fairly promising I think we'll be seeing a bit less of Sammon by the time we get to Tynecastle anyway.

Glad to have missed Celtic and Rangers. Also would take Hearts ahead of Hibs and Aberdeen. So, all things considered, not the best but not the worst either for me.

Enjoyed that for the most part. Good finish by Johnson who also hit the woodwok himself. Main (I think) chance cleared off the line, McHugh a very good chance and Campbell hit the post too. Wasn't too happy with Hartley going off as moving to a back 4 left us a bit shaky for a period. Heard it was cramp in his hamstring more than anything too serious though. More then pass marks to most. Good win.

Nah, not having that. Selective approach to analysis as ever. The cup runs have to be taken into account for performance review in conjunction with league. You are skewing your analysis to focus on the league in the same way you are criticising others for skewing it in the direction of the cup.
