He's scored 17 goals in his career to date.....
-
The saviour Bigi starts...time to see if he can do it for 90minutes.
-
So we have haha. Not sure that's in anyway required.
-
We won't sign another defender or striker.
-
Be delighted if Aldred returns. Let's not dress up that Kipre was very good. But he wasn't this amazing ball playing Beckenbauer that some make him out. Aldred, Hartley, McHugh. Yes Please.
-
Cadden would be a huge loss. For what it's worth it's unlikely he'll be going anywhere from what I hear.
-
Hearing we've knocked back an 800k bid from Rangers for Cadden as it wasn't all up front....
-
A strong, fast, ball playing defender. Not from England lower leagues. Preferably not unproven. Should be easy enough to find. Maybe he could bring a creative centre midfielser with him who also has great work rate and is strong and fast.
-
If that's the case I'm assuming a deal has fallen through otherwise he should have been shouting that from the rooftops before now..certainly earlier than week before English clubs transfer window for buying shuts.

Announce Vigurs

Spot on. A lot of people a lot of worried about a lot of nothing as yet! Edit: Scored two against Accies last season. Sign him now.

Can't say I know anything about Ross Callachan. But then I tend to not really focus on or remember individuals in other teams unless they really stand out. But, either way, it would seem a tad odd to want to add to the central midfielder pot unless there is something else in the offing. Robinson has said there are a lot of bodies in that position as it stands (YouTube video after a league cup game). So, perhaps moves behind the scenes are advanced for a player or two out in that area. Or, indeed, maybe we are just doing our due dilligence in case we do lose someone and have to move quickly. I'm going to go for the latter with The Sun jumping on it.

The sooner we can get a back 3 playing a run of games (even 2 in a row) together the better. Read the same for the 2 up top. Can't be underestimated how important partnerships and understanding with team mates are and the influence it has on games. In another world Carson, Hartley, Kipre and Dunne have played all the league cup games together and know each other very well. A partnership between Sammon and Bowman is evident and our best midfielder in Campbell wasn't suspended. Horrible result and performance but not time to chuck it yet....

Support goings on? Sign some players that it's too early to make opinions on and sell a young player in a deal that could be our most lucrative ever? I'm glass half full most of the time but I'm genuinely perplexed at what you think is going so badly. Unless you know Donnelly, Gordon, ATS, Sammon and Johnson are all definitely 100% shite.
-
Glad everyone is taking this so well. We've sold a good player for good money as we expected we would this summer. It won't make or break our season. At least we can play Celtic with 11 men now....
-
Spoke to a mate who is connected with a first team player at Wigan. Kipre deal seems to be a go-er.
-
Good to see you let the new lads settle in.
-
Surely we'd have taken the Celtic money then if we were keen to sell him due injury?
-
For the doom and gloom among some I am relatively happy with the business done and think we'll be comfortably this season if not outstanding. I've spoken to quite a few Hearts fans (downside of working in Edinburgh) as well as 1 Thistle fan and they all think Sammon could be an absolute steal if we use him correctly (i.e use him in a 2 and don't just always pump ball up to him) Top 5 is set with the city teams this year I reckon. Then, I think it's between us, St J, Killie for 6th with Dundee, St. Mirren, Accies and Livi fighting it out for the bottom two spots. League - Mid table. Fighting for 6th and ending up 6th. League Cup - Qf Scottish Cup - Qf

Not good enough yesterday. But not overly worried as long as we are improvement on Tuesday. Last year we started well against Queens Park, beat Morton handsomely but it became a formality after they got Harkins sent off in the first half, struggled to beat Edinburgh and then only beat Berwick 1-0 in a poor game.

On the bullying claims - Robinson and the club are dealing with it absolutely spot on for me. Take the fact it was off the back of the suicide awareness video away. It's a claim made on Twitter by a former player and that's all there is in the public domain to date. They should be silent until it's discussed further behind closed doors with the relevant parties (i.e. Robinson, Oldham, the player). If and when it's appropriate should any sort of public response be made. As for Neville - Again it's a Twitter. It's a response to a BBC story. He doesn't actually mention Robinson. I wouldn't get my knickers in a twist about it and I'm sure Robinson/the club aren't either. Calls for a public apology are well off the mark I think.

https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/aberdeen-motherwell-ready-battle-bid-12955175 Aberdeen and Motherwell are preparing to do battle to land former Tottenham Hotspur defender Alexander McQueen. Ex-Spurs starlet McQueen, 23, is on both clubs' shortlist after starring in the Finnish Premier Division with VPS. McQueen was signed for Spurs at the age of 18 and played 33 times for the under-21's before moving to Carlisle United where he played 25 times in England's fourth tier. The lightning-quick full-back also has a full international cap for Grenada.

It really just depends what the deal is we struck with Hartlepool. Unless anyone can pull the paperwork then it's guesswork.
-
Most important thing is that we now have an absolute pun-a-thon awaiting us. That's a great thing.

He played for the Republic and was born in Dublin....
