  1. Very much enjoyed that today. Bowman was playing well I thought, so it was a shame to lose him early. Could have and should have had one before he got the goal. Good freekick from Cadds and good header from Kipre for the second. Couple of other chances but nothing clearcut. Wasn't really concerned about Dundee until we made the Campbell change and then shifted things about with Tait switching to the right. We left so much space down the left at that point and it seemed Grimmy/Bigi/McHugh were not doing what the manager wanted as he was going nuts at for a good while at them Good to see Scott get nearly a full game. More of that and he could become a decent option in time. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

  4. No danger Miller is signing with us.
  5. Different story with the sports tickets arrangements. Certainly in my experience.
  6. Superb news. A couple of years ago when this topic came up I brought up the seamless experience I had buying tickets for baseball in San Francisco on holiday. That was ticketmaster. Bought a ticket on my phone, showed the QR code at the gate, someone scanned it. Easy. Great step forward.
  7. Bit of shame if 6000 is the amount of 'Well fans we will have there. Was hoping, without much thought it must be said, for a chunk more than that but can understand some of the reasons posted above for the lower turnout. Anyway - not that it really matters that much. As for the team, I'd probably echo the positive Cifcti comments above. He might not have scored as much as we'd like but he was instrumental in a few of our goals and general all round play, flicks and bringing people into the game is streets ahead of Bowman et al. We've got plenty of effort and running in the team. What we need against the better teams in the country is that little bit of something special and Cifcti could be that. I stress 'could' I'd start, if all the doubts are fit: Carson Kipre Aldred Dunne Tait Campbell Rose Cadden Frear Main Cifcti Subs: Bigi and Bowman not far from that starting 11 but offer something of the bench,
  8. Not that it makes a huge difference but he's on 3 goals for this season already, and got one in his half season last year too. I like Frear in general. He has his faults, as do everyone in the team, but the current system idoes no get the best out of him. Much like a few of our players.
  9. Rank stuff. Very unlike us. Second to every ball, lost the midfield battle, looked nervy in a back 4 for a long while and long ball all game was just mopped up. Should have stayed in the hoose!
  10. Not sure there is anything more than a yellow? Game will be on.
  11. Anyone know how ticket sales are going? Seems there isn't as much buzz about this semi as there was for our earlier trips to Hampden.
  12. Really pleased with the performance in the main yesterday. Had it not been for the 15 minute after the break when they switched off and didn't do what the manager asked them it would have been 3 points. Penalty was it was. Great build up and goal from Campbell. Cadden hits the bar, Main hits the bar, Campbell nearly scores again, Main should do better from the freekick and Tait should do much better when cutting back Take the immediate dissapointment out and we've performed to a man very well. Play like that in the semi and we are on our way to Hampden in May. Only slight negatives for me: -Dunne needs to keep it simple. He's been great for weeks now. Don't want to see him slip back into silly mistake mode. -Manager needs to sort out the striker situation in the summer. Petravicious may be fast but that's about it. All in though. Good day at the office tinged with a bit of disappointment.
  13. Cifcti, McHugh both seen training...maybe nothing to worry about?
  14. Brown just served his first suspension for 6 league yellows in February (before an Old Firm game). So I don't think he is due another for a good while.
  15. MacLean playing too. Big subbed after 65 odd mins. Currently 1-0 to the Saints.
  16. The vast vast majority of the media have agreed it's not a sending off. Given the TV angles available I've no doubt this will be rescinded.
  17. Was niggling at me...so I did check it out. In all competitions, Cadden has scored 4 goals which leaves him the 4th top scorer in the current squad (Tanner 9, Bowman 7, Main 5, Cadden 4.)) Could be said all lower league opposition except Ross County but important none the less Also looked, and for assists, in the Premiership only (couldn't find all comp stats in the short time I have to look) Cadden is on 5 assists. Second only to Tait on 6 in the current squad and 3 behind most assists in the league. Cadden does have his limitations as others have pointed out and the current system does not suit in my opinion but he clearly contributes. I'd tend to agree with Yassin in that I don't think he has regressed but he has not progressed either and his contribution has been patchy. However, at only 21 I'm not ready to put him out to pasture quite yet.... I've mentioned this before. But, our system is a general bug bear of mine to be honest. Can't argue it's been relatively successful but it's essentially meant the likes of Cadden, Frear, MacLean who all have had success for in the past out wide are asked to play more defensive roles which either does not suit them and/or really restricts their movement forward.
  18. Not a great season in an attacking sense for Cadden and agree with the above that the way we play does not particularly suit him which is a big shame. He was also carrying an injury for a good while which didn't really help. He did start the season scoring though. 4 or 5 in the league cup group and v Ross County I think? So it's in there somewhere. A strong end to the season for him should be the target....or it won't be long until the boo boys are out. Heard a few already sadly...
  19. Newell was signed for the development squad if I'm remembering correctly and has played about 180 minutes of first team football mostly thorough sub appearances. I think everyone is getting a bit excited over nothing here.

I respect your opinion. It's just nonsense. In my opinion. Plenty of shite players have made great coaches and vice versa.
