  1. Thought the same myself - a lot of hamstring injuries. Maybe just unlucky. Aldred is only here a few days for example. We've changed physios recently also I think?
  2. Not really a bad performance from anyone. Tanner stood out the most.
  3. Tanner at the end, Fisher after Tanner's back heel, Ciftci shot from outside the box,Dunne's header at the corner, McHugh hit the bar too.
  4. Good and important win. Thought we strolled it. Impressed with Cifcti and Main and it was their interplay that got us the penalty. Cifcti not match fit but some lovely touches. Main I think is going to do really well for us. Tanner had his best game in a 'Well shirt.
  5. Game day - excitement and hope returns. Cifcti to become a legend today.
  6. Carson, McHugh, Cadden and Tanner will all start. Money. On. It.
  7. I reckon they will play by the sounds of what the manager is saying. They've trained all week but a decision needs to be made on Friday. Agree on the 50/50 risk though Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  8. Is that from today's press conference? I thought Cadden and Tanner were fit and only Frear and Petra were taking a little longer. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. Not long til the weekend. Thoughts on lineup? Wouldn't be surprised to see Cifcti and Main start up top given the managers comments about the strikers not doing it. Aldred straight in for Hartley or too risky? A last appearance in the cup for Hammell before he retires at the end of the month? Quite a few choices to make with only Frear and Petra likely to be ruled out by injury. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. 2019: Bigi Cadden Tait Main McMillan Fisher Frear MacLean McHugh Tanner Kipre 2020: Carson 2021: Campbell
  11. The unfortunate thing is fans at all the other clubs have the same opinion of him (and other referees)
  12. Plummer is out of contract at the end of the season As are: Rose Grimshaw Bowman Petra Dunne (manager said he has a min. number of games which triggers another year) Griffiths Gordon Watt Newell Aldred (Loan) Hartley (Loan) Cifcti (Loan)
  13. Not great reviews, but I'll view him with an open mind as with all new signings. Plenty have been shite elsewhere then been fine for us (and the other way around) He's a big bit of a boy anyway. Certainly looks the part.
  14. Classic man management skills for oor Terry there!
  15. Yeah he does. I read left footed somewhere during my extensive (2 minute Google) preparation for my previous post.
  16. From what I can gather online, Donnellan is a left footed centre back. Played at right back, left back and defesive mid on loan also. Capped at U21 level. From his youtube videos....I know they don't show the full story....he look decent prospect indeed. Tall, fast, likes a tackle. A lot of boxes being ticked.
  17. Yeah, think you are right actually. That helps the situation.
  18. Tait, McHugh and Hartley all suspended for the first league game back I see. Bit of defensive cover might not go a miss... That'll be fun.
  19. I think people sometimes forget Kipre has just turned 21 and is playing his first season of first team football. Huge huge amount of potential but needs game time managed like all young players do to get him through the peaks and troughs. At the moment he plays every game because no one else can step in to the back 3.
  20. Break came at the right time for the team and fans I think. I'm choking to get back to it now!
  21. The manager favours 3 at the back. Currently Kipre has a free run at it. I can see the logic of looking for central/right central defender cover/competition.
  22. Grimshaw has also spent a lot of time at right back.
  23. Agree also. He made mistakes but overall was a decent young defender.
