I've thought he has looked good there. Albeit in a meaningless game v Livi and the pre season friendly. But I wouldn't rule it out. Certainly looked better there tha when he got moved back later on v Livi.

Mullen is closely connected so might not be far off. I've heard everything from 2 months to 6 months. If its preventative as the club have said (i.e. there is no problem right now but could be in the future) then 6 months seems a very lengthy lay off. That said, I'm not a surgeon!

Very much a rusty first pre season game I'd say. Johnson had an excellent shot saved in the first half but not much else to report on...those worth a mention: From the first half team - Gallagher looked decent, Semple very busy and got a lot of ball looking to create, Sloth looks like he could be very tidy once up to speed and took all the dead balls, Maguire decent in the defensive mid role Carson Grimshaw - Gallagher - Hartley - Livi Campbell- Maguire Long - Sloth - Semple Johnson From the second half team - Scott looked great on the ball up top but didnt do much to trouble the goal, Polworth did a lot of running, collecting and distributing and looked good I thought, Cornelius got a good bit of ball too and looked to try and create, Donnelly decent again in the middle like Maguire was. Think it trying to be a 4-2-3-1 from what I can see. Back 4 definitely, Maguire and Campbell seem to be sitting. Sloth roaming about and Semple and Long wide, Johnson middle. Great to see Carson back.

Fully agree, but if via everything happening a young boy gets labelled with having a dodgy knee and he doesn't that kind of thing can stick around. We live in a world where opinion is stated as fact nowadays....but that's for another forum. Anyway, hope it's all resolved sooner rather than later.

Sadly in the world today a few posts citing a dodgy knee on a forum, gets picked up on Twitter, spreads around whatsapp groups, gets picked up on an opinion piece blog reported as news and then next day is in the paper as fact! We should just be careful is all I'm saying to specify actual facts from pure opinion with things like this.
