I would be too if he didn't have previous for being arrogant and totally out of touch....

The main argument from me though was why did he feel the need to make it public? He rarely attends first-team games never mind U20's games and no doubt we're about the time he swans off back to Barbados while the management team repair the effects of his comments.

At what age are you ready for that step up though? I'm more than happy to give the young players time, but buying on mass is hardly going to help their chances surely?

We'll never know if we have the young talent if they are constantly bekng overlooked for signing new player's. If the manager, his assistant, Stephen Craigan have voiced their concerns about the number of young players coming through then that puts a different slant on things, but I don't believe they are saying this - they come across very positively about future prospects. I reckon if he has something to say it should come through the club and not the Daily Mail too, the Society email where they clarified their stance on the article suggests there was a lack of communication around this interview.

Perhaps Buxe, seems a bit like phasing him out - the McHugh treatment...

Still can't really get my head round his opinion on our young players.

I tend to go with if the fans are being entertained then they'll respond and that was the case yesterday, there wasn't much to get excited about. I've noticed the decline in atmosphere lately but the games have been fairly poor too. To be relying on a small group of fans to make noise for the whole stadium isn't always going to work - the Bois have been superb for bringing back colour and atmosphere to games. Hopefully they'll have something to sing about soon.

An absolutely shocking second booking yesterday, what this guy offers ahead of Jack Leitch is beyond me so far - this may be a quite damaging loan spell for a variety of reasons.

Buxe - we'll get that sorted. Sent away a few emails yesterday and hopefully will have another few guests lined up for the coming months. The offer of a guest appearance to anyone who fancies is still open too.

Very early into Barra's tenure I wouldn't have been bothered whatsoever if he'd been sacked. Now after some very good showing's late last season and a summer of what appear to be positive recruitment then I hope he's given time to turn it all round. Must be said we are painfully inconsistent under Barraclough, given we've got a bit of depth now hopefully that issue can be resolved quickly.
