Our podcast with Flow is being edited right now. You could pass the time by signing up for the prediction league ;-)

Some of you may have noticed that we've got a few adverts on our website looking for potential advertisers. The reason for this is we need to upgrade our Soundcloud to a Pro account at a cost of around £100. Other than our yearly costs of the website we don't have any other overheads. To meet our costs we've created a Scottish Premiership prediction league at the cost of £5 per-entry - there is a £100 prize for the winner and £50 for the runner-up. In addition to this everyone who signs up to the prediction league before mid-day on Saturday (1/8) will be entered into a draw for the chance to win a signed Motherwell F.C football. You can sign up for the prediction league here - http://www.mfc1886.com/rules/ We hope you'll take this chance to support the podcast and in doing so give yourself a chance to take the top prize.

Some of you may have noticed that we've got a few adverts on the site looking for potential advertisers. The reason for this is we need to upgrade our Soundcloud to a Pro account at a cost of around £100. Other than our yearly costs of the website we don't have any other overheads, so perhaps advertising isn't the way to go about things. Our suggestion was starting a Scottish Premiership prediction league at the cost of £5 per-entry - there would be £100 prize for the winner and £50 for the runner-up. Ideally we'd get enough entires to enable us to upgrade the Soundcloud and everyone is in with a chance of winning the prediction league prize. Is this something that would be of interest? Davie already is working away in getting the predictor page sorted, hopefully we'd be able to have this set up for tomorrow.

Another good example of how good Davie Young at VS Media is with us, within about 10 minutes of me noticing the issues with the post he's got the media player on the website. All whilst working a shift at his actual job - if anyone is looking for someone to build them a website you really should be considering him.

Davie has added in a media player to the site, you should be able to hear Jim's podcast here - http://www.mfc1886.com/tag/jim-paterson/

Seems to be an error there, will speak to our tech guy and try sort it out.

New Soundcloud page is ready too - https://soundcloud.com/mfcpodcast

There was quotes from the gaffer in one of the papers today where he said he'd spoken to Nigel Clough about Long, there wasn't a mention of speaking to Nigel Adkins however, Long might feel he has a real opportunity to impress their new gaffer - got my doubts he'll be at Fir Park next season.

You can subscribe to the podcast on our site now - http://www.mfc1886.com/subscribe-to-podcast/ We've just recorded the first episode of the new season too in which we were joined by Andy Paterson, we've also got a show lined up with Alan Burrows in the near future.

Those that have subscribed to the podcast will need to re-subscribe following the upload of the new podcast tomorrow. Don't have a direct link to do so just yet, but will do very soon. Cheers

I wasn't suggesting he should have got the job, I think his lack of a job in professional football is the least of his worries just now.

Three new blog articles on the website ahead of the first podcast of the new season which we'll be recording over the weekend. Blog section of the site - http://www.mfc1886.com/category/blog/

Hi folks, we are delighted to announce the launch of our new website - MFCPodcast.co.uk. This ends weeks of extremely hard work by Davie Young who never ceases to amaze us with his technical knowledge and skills. In going it alone we feel we can take our ideas for expanding the podcast further and improve the quality of our content - we'll have a dedicated home for all our podcasts, 'One to Eleven shows' and blog articles. We've been delighted at how the first eight months have went for us, we all put a great deal of work and time into it and to see it do so well has made it so worthwhile. Please have a look around the site on launch and as always if you have any feedback please get in touch with us. The move to our own website also brings to an end our relationship with the guys at ByTheMinSport. ByTheMin have supported us with hosting cost and server space since day one and we really owe a great deal of gratitude to them for that. Going alone will mean we now incur hosting costs which we'll be meeting ourselves. If you would like to support the funding of the podcast there is a donation page on the site - any help is much appreciated.

Three are available online, the McKinnon one is on Soundcloud. Our site is very close to launch, they'll all be available for download from there - we don't have enough hosting space to put the MP3's of the 1-11's on Libsyn as yet.

Don't think this is the case at all either, he was very error prone and was found out badly on a number of occasions. He should never have been here after his initial loan spell as in my view he was clearly never good enough.
-
We spoke to Flow not long after setting the podcast up, we won't be able to get any access to current squad and football staff unfortunately. Guess the advantage of the former players is they aren't limited in what they can say, that would be very much the case with current playing staff.

Yeah you were haha! It was a Thursday too, so yer excuse about the heavy weekend's doesn't even hold up!
