  1. I sound better than the one after Ibrox....
  2. Jay produced another magic outro too, keep listening right to the end, you won't regret it. Cheers
  3. Podcast #33 has been cancelled. Luckily though Podcast #6-1 has been found as a late replacement. Joe McKelvie (Complete with some crazy background noise in the opening 10 minutes of the show) joined the guys to review our final fixture of the season - a glorious demolishing of Rangers. On iTunes and using the following links - Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/bytheminsport/bytheminmfc-podcast-6-1 Libsyn - http://traffic.libsyn.com/bytheminmfc/playoffpod.mp3
  4. https://ajr2022.wordpress.com/2015/05/26/just-a-game-hardly/- wee blog ahead of the play-off.
  5. I really struggled to get the sound right when editing today, so apologies if there are a few points where the sound isn't as clear - have listened to it all back and think it's alright now. Think it's because I recorded on a different device. Sorry again.
  6. New podcast, live now on iTunes and using the following links.... Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/bytheminsport/bytheminmfc-podcast-31 Libsyn - http://traffic.libsyn.com/bytheminmfc/podcast31.mp3
  7. I'd hope that this is the stage that pride and desire to win a new deal elsewhere kicks in. If they've been told they can leave come the end of the season (Barra has previously said they haven't) then the next three games are a chance to prove themselves to any potential new club. There's guys on that list that could quite easily struggle to find themselves a full-time club for next season.
  8. They'd make up a decent fives team too eh? Was a bit surprised Richie got back and agreed to do it, looking forward to them all.
  9. The fifth and the last of our confirmed summer guests is Richie Foran. So that's Sieb Dijkstra, Jim Paterson, Rob McKinnon, Shaun Teale and Richie Foran.
  10. Cheers for the replies guys, it perked me up recording it earlier - although the laptop constantly messing up and the four hour process to get it online wasn't so much fun. Folk listening and enjoying it certainly makes it worthwhile.
  11. Fair bit happening with the podcast just now. We've lined up five former-player guests over the summer, we're able to confirm four of them - Sieb Dijkstra, Rob McKinnon, Jim Paterson and Shaun Teale. Matt Johnstone (FatCalf) joins us next Monday and plans are set for the following week in the event we avoid or end up in the play-off. The latest podcast is available now via this link -
  12. You'll be fine until 3:30 from past experience, have you got a season book? Even if you are later than that chap the gate and a steward should let you in.
  13. I'd put Accies a few weeks back right up there with our poorest performances this seasons, there was a real lack of desire given the huge importance & the towel was thrown in when we went 2-0 down. Wasn't aware of the Lawless injury chat, he was certainly the only real example I could think of in regards to instances that we made the wrong call.
  14. NEW PODCAST - AVAILABLE ON ITUNES, SOUNDCLOUND & LIBSYN On the back of an excellent weekend of results in our fight to avoid the Scottish Premiership relegation play-off, Andrew Paterson joined Sparra & Jay to discuss the win over Killie, look ahead to to the weekend's fixture against St Mirren, discuss a number of younger players leaving the club and the noticeable dip in the atmosphere at Fir Park in the last two home games. Soundcloud - Libsyn - http://traffic.libsyn.com/bytheminmfc/mfc29.mp3
  15. Steven Higgins appears to be on his way too.
  16. Second confirmed summer guest - SIEB DIJKSTRA!
  17. Unfortunately requires you to follow ByTheMinSport mate, that means you end up with all their podcasts. Buxe is usually quick at updating episodes in the pinned thread at the top of the club chat section.
  18. New Podcast - We had the pleasure of the company of Andrew Jenkin from Supporters Direct this evening. Podcast is available on iTunes and using these links..... Soundcloud - Libsyn - http://traffic.libsyn.com/bytheminmfc/Podcast040515.mp3
  19. First former player confirmed for the summer break (that we're allowed to mention) Jim 'Stepover' Paterson.
  20. Is Auntie Bethal available on a Bosman? A risk worth taking IMO.....
  21. Maybe best he doesn't listen this week....
  22. Hopefully! Shall post when confirmed, but there should be news very soon.
  23. @ByTheMinMFC: NEW - Brian Martin picks his career 'One to Eleven'. On the podcast YouTube page now - https://t.co/iY69fNBYv9
  24. Don't think we could have been much clearer that it wasn't a protest vote, these things require organising and if we had just adodpted the mentality of the majority of our first-team squad we'd have simply just chucked it. This gives the chance of a bit of recognition for a young lad that has been performing well and appears to be very much on the up.
  25. MOTHERWELL fans have snubbed every first team regular for a Player of the Year gong, as the club stare a relegation play-off in the face. Supporters who put together the weekly ByTheMinMFC Podcast had intended to hand out their own award to this season's top first team performer. But after Friday night's 2-0 defeat to local rivals Hamilton left the Lanarkshire club six points behind Ross County in 11th place, organisers decided enough was enough. They then scrapped the vote and announced that Under-20s star Dom Thomas would be given the award. Podcast presenter Andy Ross said: "This is something ourselves and the guests had been voting on and we did have a winner. "But we watched the game on Friday and discussed it and to be honest we were embarrassed at the prospect of having to award a player the Player of the Year. "Quite frankly I don't think there is anyone deserving of the title of Player of the Year, but we haven't scrapped the idea, we will give it to an Under-20s player. "Dom Thomas is the winner of the award, and will be presented with it after the Ross County game on Saturday." Thomas has made 13 appearances for the first team since Ian Baraclough took over at Fir Park, but has only started one of those matches. The winger has been a constant feature for Jonathan Johansson's successful Under-20s side, and is their top scorer this season with 11 goals.
