Is there an option of perhaps bringing these back ahead of the final? Good fundraiser last time out. Could maybe rebrand with the 'Time for new heroes'?

I think given the magnitude of the game there will be very few who don't know about the game and that won't have been talking about it amongst friends etc. I guess it is a nice personal touch to be sent an invite but the information on tickets etc were all made available very quickly - something that the club perhaps haven't been the best at doing in the past.

Buxe did I hear you say that you had all the episodes of the Football Years on DVD? Only seen one episode of the recent ones shown and would be quite interested in taking one if you do have them.

Why was Boyle in the dugout? In fact where has he been since deciding that he was selling up come the end of the season? I feel during our recent poor run we've been losing games that we perhaps took a point from or sneaked a 1-0 win from under Brown. It wasn't pretty last night, but I thought in some aspects it was quite similair to the Killie game two weeks ago and honestly believed for the majority of the game we were the better side. Perhaps winning two on the bounce raised expectation levels a little too far - it certainly managed to hide the fact we're struggling badly to find the net! Certainly wouldn't do anything rash in regards to the manager at the moment.

I've arranged to scud cans and fall off motors with him by email. Was annoyed it took him half an hour to reply mind you.

I think what I was getting at earlier in the thread is when the game is on the TV I don't feel like I am missing the game. When it comes to spending £20 on a non-televised game or £20 on a game on the television I find myself choosing the non-televised game. There obviously will be exceptions such as the semi-final there, European ties etc but it's become a case of being happy just to see the game. That's not taking into the account all the extra costs which make the days where I could go to every game a thing of the past.

I agree with most of what you're saying. However this season I have found myself deciding to miss out away televised games more than ever before. Especially with it being on a Sunday @ 1.30, it's a bit restricting to making a day of it and I doubt there will be much difference in atmosphere in JD's than at the game. I could be persauded but I doubt it to be honest and I would imagine there are a fair few in the same mindset.

Despite what Sky would have you believe the transfer window opened at the start of January. We knew we needed a striker and we failed to get one. Those in charge have failed to improve our chances of success and the blame lies firmly at their door. We've managed two league goals in five SPL games and those both came in the same game. It's a piss poor record and shows no sign of improving.

Give it a rest. It's our fourth domestic cup apperance at Hampden since the 91 final. (Minus the games v Queens Park - they shouldn't count.) Lets enjoy it and cling to that wee bit of hope we might do this mob!

Can't work out this 'there's no doubt we'll lose' patter. You wouldn't be spending £20 of your hard earned to go to Hampden if that was the case?

Heard that Hibs had initially looked into Grella but their guy who looks into new signings noticed that he'd played for two clubs.

R.I.P Pat. Enjoyed a few laughs with him and Rab over the last few years after meeting them both in Wales. Arrived at the social club the night before the game and it was clear the two of them had clearly made friends with the locals pretty quickly. Then we were informed they had been there since 9 in the morning . Thoughts are with his friends and family.

Very confident Murphy won't go as I don't believe any team will value him at the same price we do. Leigh Griffiths has just went for 150k and even if we believe that Murphy is twice the player Griffiths is then 300k still some way off what we will be looking for.

McCall seems to have been a bit niave with the chat "Well his agent has promised if he heads back North it will be to Motherwell." Surely during his managerial career he has experienced agents trying to feed him a line? I really hope we have plans to get some fresh faces in ASAP as I really believe that given we're already in a cup semi-final and have a favourable draw in the Scottish this could still be a very good season.

Wish I could share your enthusiasm Amber Nectar but I think we're in for an awful end to the season.
