  1. Don't let the door hit ye on yer way out Shuan.
  2. Hmm lets take it one game at a time. We're no really on top form at the moment.
  3. I'm surprisngly pleased at this. Took me four hours by train into Striling today - put me off the thought of travelling to Inverness. What odds on it being a draw and having to take another ten attempts at a replay?

    Game Off

Home win on the pools panel. Get in!
  5. He had one good season. Last season was average at best and certainly no better than what we experienced in the first half of Gannon's time in charge.
  6. Heard it was touch and go as to whether the East Stand would be open on Saturday. Leaking roofs and fuck off puddles didn't help the mood after the performance on Saturday - but I suppose it adds character.
  7. Don't agree with you there Blakey. I still think guys like Giles Coke, Steve Jennings and Tom Hateley have been good singings in-particular Hateley. I reckon things such as shaking everyone of the opposition players hands as they left the field and making a point of appluading the supporters perhaps made him seem like a better guy than McGhee. Refusing to speak to the media did indeed seem petty, but I don't think that was to hide his flaws. He was known in the past for being rather outspoken and clearly had no intentions of changing his ways just because he was managing outwith England. In the past few weeks his tactics were very questionable to say the least but lets face it in the second half of his final season McGhee (who appears to be your messiah) was getting it wrong tactically a lot - infact his baffling team selection for the St Mirren game cost us a top six place.
  8. Where did I say he should be sacked? I reckon we're really gonna struggle to come out of this poor run of performances with the players looking very short of confidence. Stop jumping up and down trying to be a smart arse all the time.
  9. Yeah well I think unless we see the fact we are going backwards and on a four game losing streak with Hearts to come on Wednesday then the bigger picture could become that we have a real fight on our hands.
  10. What exactly is this bigger picture you speak of? I cannot for the life of me work out why Gannon keeps messing around with the team and making these 'bold' changes week in week out. Who did he hook at half time on the first day of the season? Yet he was the man to come in and shore up the defence today??? Makes no sense. I don't blame the people who left early. Probably had better things to do than watching a heartless Motherwell display in the freezing cold.
  11. I'm hoping we get a really good turnout. Considering how strong the panel is I think the night deserves a big crowd. Saying that I am sure all that want to go will be able to without any problems.
  12. I'm sure the night will be discussed on here afterwards, don't know if there will be anybody there jotting down all the answers mind you. I'll be contacting some of you on here over the next day or so regarding your questions. Oh and we've ordered 100 pies so come on people get along if you can spare a few hours on Thursday!
  13. Two days away from the event folks. Keep the questions coming!
  14. Fear the streaming costs and video time may be a bit beyond us!
  15. Some good questions folks keep them coming.
  16. There has been a lot of discussions in the past few weeks Motherwell Seagull. Opening meeting planned for January. Forward your email in a PM to me and I'll try sort out your reply.
  17. Alright folks, As you may have seen the MST are holding a football forum evening in the Cooper Suite on Thursday 17th December. The impressive panel consists of Jim Gannon, Craig Brown, Mark Hateley and Chris McCart. The plan is to have a few pre-arranged questions to put to the panel and this is where you guys come in. If you could provide some questions for the panel this would be great for getting the ball rolling on the night. Remember tickets for this event are priced £3 or free with a trust membership. Trust memberships will be available on the night priced £5 and will be valid for free entry to the event. Cheers

    Cup Draw

The return of the best away day!!
  19. Free bar bit sounds good!
  20. Worst in a long time!! Struggling to find any positives in terms of the way we were setup and the guys who 'attempted' to do the job on the park. Heard some amount of nonsense being spouted on our bus home that would make you think we were a club in crisis though. Lets face it we have had many dissapointments in the past and only a few months ago this board was full of chat about being relegated. We'll lose again this season, maybe even to teams worse than St Mirren, full confidence in the manager and his team to bounce back from what was a pathetic showing.
