The transfer value of Armstrong isn't a great comparison as I think he's a much better player than Cadden. However the press reporting clubs are prepared to pay £3m for Windass shows that bigger clubs are somehow able to demand larger fees than perhaps the player deserves as that is the market they are seen to be operating in. As for the £600k development fee, clubs will still only pay that if they think he's worth it.

Surely the point of a change strip is it doesn't clash with the other team's home strip. Seems daft when we have to rely on the other team wearing their change strip.

I got the impression when McEwan Fraser came in as sponsors that we were struggling to get a main sponsor and they were all we could get, accepting lower than what we were probably hoping for. If that was the case then it's not surprising if we have looked for a bit more cash this time round.

We've already had Betpark's name on the back of our strips so I don't see much of a difference between taking their money before and taking it now.
