Both from Motherwell supporting journalists I think so likely to be reasonably well informed.

I'd like to think we stick to our guns regarding the money we're looking for even if it means he stays with us until the next transfer window. I said it earlier in the thread, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does a Faddy and starts the season well and gets sold in August.
-
They've done well recently from the Scottish market with McLean so there's some sense in that. They're also coming into serious money and would suit as being the type of club that could sell him on for a hefty fee if he does well. There's a long way to go in this saga though!
-
He'll have earned a lot more money getting there though.

I've got to admit, this has been Scottish Football Soap Opera at its very best. No matter how it turns out, we'll look back in years to come and say, remember when....
-
Is this move still being mooted as a possibility? The links I see (and I've not searched that hard) mention it as a possible move if Sunderland got promoted, which they didn't.
-
I received my email on May 30th and it included comment on the double your money deal being extended to the end of May. That seemed strange timing to be getting it the day before the deadline so I queried it with Craig who promptly explained the email was more of a general thing and referred to other publicising of the extended deal.

There is a point, financially speaking, when the club can't afford to turn down the offer and they allow the club to speak to Turnbull. It's then up to him whether he goes to that particular club. I wouldn't be surprised if this drags on and we think he's staying before someone comes in at the end of the transfer window, similar to Faddy going to Everton.

That's a pity that some bad experiences against Rangers and Celtic have put you off. I also moved to the Cooper Stand when it was built and, despite season ticket holders there voting not to move for Skippy Sunday, we were moved into the Main Stand for Old Firm games the following season. The club realised that was a mistake and have now realised it is more important to look after their own supporters in the Main Stand than take the money from allowing Old Firm supporters to site beside them, with the negative impact on the match experience that brings. Hopefully this move will help see more Motherwell supporters feel comfortable enough in the future as I am sure the home attendance takes a dip for these fixtures.

Main showed enough in his purple patch to demonstrate there's a player in there. Particularly his charging down of the ball, run from half way at Hampden and as cool a finish as you'll ever see. It's up to a manager to sign him on the basis he's confident he can get that out of him on a regular basis.

I thought Tait played well enough but we just looked a bit off all the way through the team.
-
Again, I don't see a thread for tomorrow's game so I'll start this one off. I won't make it along but we'll hopefully be out to entertain and I imagine Saints will be right up for it and surely more than Dundee were (despite the 3 goals). Anyway, same team other than Carl in for Gorrin unless there's another ball playing youngster to try in there?
-
The attendance was low but our attendances after the split have always dropped off a cliff. I thought some of the football we played, particularly first half, was tremendous to watch and it looked as the players were really enjoying themselves. Considering it was fairly meaningless, they are a joy to watch at times.

Derek Adams has been sacked by Plymouth with them a point above the relegation places in League 1.
-
Yeah, it was there for every coach to see after the goal at St. Mirren and Levein's comments after his goal against Hearts confirmed that. But we will always have those goals to look back on no matter what he does in the future (particularly that St. Mirren goal which is our goal of the season for me).
-
Do those stats include his stint at Alloa?
-
I can't see a topic started for this which is an indication of its importance (to us anyway). I can see us going with pretty much the same team as last week and perhaps giving some youngsters a sub appearance. Dundee have to win so expect them to be up for it unless they've already given up.
-
There's been talk of us potentially trying to agree a deal including a sell-on clause but would we need to do that if we're due compensation anyway if they sell before the age of 23?
-
There are rules for the criteria to be used and each of these will require a fee within a certain range. With around half a dozen criteria there could be quite a range of fee applicable. Expect the usual public relations push from rangers to try to lower the expectations of fee due. Remember, £400k is our take on things.
-
Yip. If he goes to Rangers, they will take it to a tribunal and come out with all their usual tricks like articles by friendly journalists to try and influence the fee.
-
I can remember the goal (front post header) but no idea about the score.
-
Technically McLeish played for us as well. That only leaves Peter Grant, who I can safely say didn't play for us (but did have some memorable moments at FirPark).

We've looked all over the place since the third goal. Confidence has taken a knock. Just need to see this out now and move on. -

Rangers had done nothing in the second half and all of a sudden we're open and it's an easy third for them. Double sub with Cadden and Frear on for Main and Aribiyi. Hastie playing through the middle?
