It's right up there with John Robertson complaining about cheating but don't get me started on him.
-
He hardly managed 11 touches (including the very slight contact on the Kilmarnock player) never mind 11 goals. Although I thought he showed a bit of promise in the time he was on. As for Esteban, he may well be on loan (if so, all credit to Hammerfist) but it doesn't necessarily mean we'll sign him. Time will tell.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we get an extremely derisory bid coming for Reynolds from Rangers if the reported sale of Wilson to Liverpool goes through. I just hope we have the guts to tell them where to go.
-
Possibly. But Kalmar would also be easiest to get to.
-
Yup. Supposedly a small number or right-minded locals hate the lot of them.

They come from Kópavogur in the outskirts of Reykjavik. Supposedly they are known as UBK Kopavogur when playing in European competitions. Basically I've just looked up Wikipedia.

Industrial town of around 30,000 on the outskirts of the main city in the area. Sound familiar?

Seeing as he's been mentioned, I did hear from a friend that Dorman was supposed to be buying a house in the area. While I would have expected him to move south for more money he did have a quieter season after his goal-scoring exploits the previous year and he is out of contract, so it might not be completely impossible.

The older heavier one who came down to talk to him sometimes was putting on such an intentional frown to try and look mean it looked as though it was hurting him. I take it those photos were taken at half-time as I'm not in them but people who were beside me are?

Back in August when McGhee was making comments about trying to sign various players, Klimpl was supposed to be one of his targets. There were quite a few complaints on the Aberdeen message board (always good for a laugh) that Dundee had been able to offer Klimpl more money so he may well come on to their radar again but I can't see us being at all interested.

Forbes' goal against St. Johnstone wasn't just our best goal of our season (in my opinion), it was the best goal of the season for anyone.
-
We scored fairly early and then Celtic did have a fair bit of pressure but big Seib caught everything in the air that day. They were launching balls into the box and he was coming so far off his line he was struggling to stay in the penalty box after he caught the ball. It was his stand-out performance for the club and a fantastic afternoon.

He's offside. If you pause the BBC footage when Murphy shoots, he's about a foot closer to the goal than Goncalves. So the linesman was correct although I didn't think so at the time.

I assume, and hope, this is a wind-up.

I think anyone who witnessed Goram's save at Parkhead for us would take issue with him being over-rated. Okay he was in the twilight of his career with us but there were still occassions when he showed his class.

I was shocked on Saturday at how much the pitch had deteriorated. While I did not think it looked as bad as it has done the previous two seasons I thought it had more of an impact on the game and a quick look at some old highlights seemed to back that up. Last season there was excuse that the drainage and heating was knackered and the whole pitch was going to be re-constructed from top to bottom in the summer. It know appears that the work in the summer has turned out to be an expensive folly. Whether that is the fault of the contractors brought in during the summer or of Fir Park's own groundsmen remains to be seen and I can only assume an internal investigation is underway. Public relations will mean an explanation will be needed and we all know there will be much more made of the pitch after tomorrow night's game against Rangers than there was after the Accies game, particularly if manage to take something from the game. Explanations are one thing though and surely extensive and expensive remedial works will be required. Did we not also receive a suspended fine for the state of the pitch last season?

My mind must be playing tricks on me again. I do remember him scoring an o.g. at Fir Park towards the end of his Aberdeen days though! Has anyone mentioned Gerry Britten?
-
I seem to remember him playing against Aberdeen at Fir Park which the media made a big thing about in their reports. The media still occassionally refer to him as being a one club player which isn't strictly accurate but he certainly didn't make any impression playing for us.
-
Did Greg Denham ever play for us again after game? It certainly signalled the end for him.
-
I think it was 2 goals in the first ten minutes in a game against Dundee which we went on to draw 2-2. He used to come in to a shop I worked in on sundays with various bumps and black eyes from the game the day before as he worked his way down the leagues. Anyway, I think I'll add in Jamie Doyle for old times' sake.

If Aberdeen can triple his wages and are willing to do so, then that would explain their current financial situation.
-
There's next to no chance of us signing Lukas permanently. We have a wage structure these days, for very good reasons, which he just doesn't come anywhere near.

Yep, you're right. I was thinking it was midweek because it was dark when Dolan scored but, to be honest, that's leaves about half the season. The more I think about it must have been a Saturday because I'd been in Behind The Wall before the game. Maybe that's why my memory is a bit hazy. I've got fond memories of Brockville even if it was a bit of a shithole.
-
Midweek game at Brockville, last few minutes, Jamie Dolan curler into the top corner to clinch a 3-1 win. There's a Falkirk memory for you. The only person in the Motherwell end not going mental was my pal who had been about to collect £50 for a 2-1 prediction.

They can still get lost and wallets can get stolen. I would be surprised if the club wouldn't be reasonable if the tattered remains can be presented - I've always found them to be pretty understanding.
