  1. Considering their manager has only just left I would have been surprised if they had made contact already (if they are even interested).
  2. Don't forget Dunne is probably No.1 for the left back spot depending on the formation.
  3. Doesn't look as though we can expect a lot of goals from him but he looks speedy and we've been crying out for a quick winger. Going by the video posted above he's not scared to take a player on but he could be doing with improving his crossing. We were never going to sign the finished article but it looks as though there's plenty to work with. It's certainly more promising than Calvin Miller. Also, the video is from his Chesterfield days so he may have improved his final ball since then.
  4. For all the names mentioned, this deal is completely out of the blue. I like it when we manage to keep our business under wraps, all the leaks seem a bit unprofessional (although they do keep things interesting). It's nice to add a bit of pace - we've been missing the sort of out and out pace that terrifies defenders and makes teams change their shape since Johnson and Humphrey before that.
  5. Yeah, I had assumed that. There must be a limit to cross-border loans though. I'm guessing 5 or Ashley would have pushed it further in Rangers' case.
  6. Did Rangers not bring in 5 players on loan from Newcastle (including Bigi) a few years ago? That must have been taking things to the limit.
  7. He joined us in a January transfer window and was pretty uninspiring. I'm surprised to see we then offered him a contract in the summer (according to the linked Wiki page on him).
  8. Exciting signing that we can only hope works out. Interesting wait now to see who the next signing is. There's not been many names mentioned so looks like being someone out of the blue (unless it's Calvin Miller or the QotS boy).
  9. It's still a public holiday here today. The only deal I've seen confirmed for an incoming player is Osman to Falkirk but he's been training with them for a while so the paperwork has probably had advance clearance.
  10. The BBC are reporting Falkirk have signed midfielder Abdul Osman who I remember being touted on here as a possible signing for us a while back. A footnote to the same article states that Falkirk have completed a deal for Ross McLean, whichI'm sure will be a surprise to no-one.
  11. I got in the ground about 5 to 3 and a broken seat was thrown and landed just in front of me as I walked past the stairs/ toilet so it was happening before Imrie even kicked a ball. I wasn't even doing any goading!
  12. I can see us picking up 10 or 11 points out of that lot but reckon, with more teams involved at the bottom, there won't be as many points as normally required to be safe.
  13. I am not familiar with Gal Gadot but assume there would be perfectly enjoyable things you could do with her other than smelling her fufu if that's a problem . Likewise I'd like to think we could change things around to accommodate a player of McCormick's calibre so he doesn't have to do huge amounts of running if that's an issue.
  14. No offence intended although I don't think I or anyone else went nuts. I wasn't at the game so didn't see the incident to put the question into context so apologies if it was a genuine question. I also don't sit in the POD so don't get to appreciate the same view you do!
  15. Does she normally carry out pitch duties on match days? I'm not certain but I don't think she does so there may not have been any reason at all. If there is anything going on (and I'm not privy to insider information) then it's not really football related. Transfer rumours etc. are a different matter and the wilder the rumours the better!
  16. There certainly is. If someone is trying to get some innuendo or gossip going then maybe it's better, on occasion, to take a step back and think if there's anything to be gained by airing it on a public forum.
  17. With Main missing the Accies game, we not have much option but to play Bowman.
  18. They had separate queues the last time I was there. The problem was that the vast majority of people had bought tickets so were standing in massive queues whereas those paying at the gate joined a very short queue to the obvious consternation of ticket buyers.
  19. I thought one of the statements said that Rose was looking forward to making a contribution in the remaining games. Might be media talk and it would be interesting to see if he would be giving it 100%.
  20. Gillespie for me. Strange game in that we worked hard without playing particularly well and we didn't have many great performers (plenty solid performances though).
  21. For those driving through, I've been told the parking at the shopping centre is really busy so it would be a good idea to leave a bit more time.
  22. I think they've taken this approach for all league games this season (unless it's been all-ticket). St. Mirren do it as well and Kilmarnock have done in the past. I think it's supposed to be an anti-corruption measure as it's more controlled than a number of individual turnstile operators handling the cash.
