Players signing PCAs and engineering a way to get the move in January, or just leaving for better money = bad, horrible, evil, Judas Clubs tearing up contracts and offloading players fans don't like = good, getting rid of the deadwood Players letting clubs renege on contracts and not getting the money they're legally due = fantasy land When players are "let go" during a contract, it invariably means they were paid to go, and I sincerely doubt that anyone in their right mind leaves money on the table, especially in a short career like football.

I'm just hoping that KVV doesn't continue to screw up chances for others, don't want him catching the hearts defender injury curse. I can't see the team being much different from last week, as we don't have any other viable options up front. Shields at least runs, maybe something will bounce in off him. I'd be surprised if we suddenly jumped to a back three at this point, it's kind of what I want, but really don't see it happening.

They need people to phone in or discuss them online, so spouting I'll informed shite is a feature, not a bug.

Willie Collum would have simultaneously climaxed and whipped out the red card before Goss even hit the ground.
-
Can see it now, just a different angle. Shitey video here

Was this the red? I'm sure it was against spittal, where he stamped him on the way down from a jump.

About as bad as we've ever played for a win. Don't care.
-
You don't get away with those now, that was a nasty one from Watt.

You can't miss chances like the one KVV had and expect to get anything out of games, absolute sitter. We didn't play any better in the second half, but Aberdeen got sloppy and we were about to get the ball forward more and almost got ourselves a lead. Having some pace on the pitch with shields helped, but the lack of pace across our whole squad is a huge problem. In fact, just having some players who are not comically slow would be a bonus. I hope that we have the ability to make some serious changes in the next window now that Hammel has had more time. A second striker is an absolute must. Pretty woeful that when we're chasing a game in the last ten mins our only option is a like for like sub with our right backs.

Went for Sol. He's become a good no-nonsense center back, and wins everything. Our back four has become pretty dependable with him in it. We didn't show enough composure going forward to give it to anyone else, although Goss had a pretty good game.

We were flat, and the red card killed us. We made a go of it with 10 men, but didn't make a single chance all game.
-
As bad an individual performance as I've ever seen for us.
-
Well, hope we don't see shields again, absolutely woeful display today.
-
Didn't see 0-0 at half time happening. We've been very slack in midfield and lucky not to be a couple down, however we still managed to look dangerous on a couple of occasions. Shields looks way off, isn't even doing the backtracking.

Just vague mentions that it's a family situation.

We didn't let them overrun us, and we found ways to make some chances for ourselves. I thought we might nick something at the end there, but it wasn't to be. The professional foul at the end did it's job. They had some scrappy chances, but didn't carve us open, mainly because we were well organized and stuck to our plan. However we panicked every time we had the ball, especially in the first half. We really need Slattery back, hopefully he'll be in a position to return soon.

Thought Penney was good again, and he was the only player who didn't shit it every time he got the ball, so he gets my vote. Considering that I expected us to get relentlessly battered on the wings, I didn't see much danger from their wide players throughout the game. Fair play to Mcginn and Penney for that. Also thought Sol and Lamie we're solid.
-
He played 20 mins.

Went for Goss. Couple have easily been lamie, Sol, or Tierney, but I thought Goss was key to how we played and he was consistent throughout the game. If Tierney stays in the side for most of the season, he's going to run away with this thing as I think he's still finding his place. I did think about going for Sol for manhandling Watt, he's another that is steadily getting better.
-
I dont think tierney necessarily needs to bulk up, there are plenty of small/ lean players, and they can use that to their advantage, and that's something he can learn. Putting on weight could also be a detriment to his game. He's 21, so may fill out a bit yet, but he's not going to be rocking a Conor Shields physique any time soon, or likely at all.

That's as good as I've seen us play in a long time. I thought the penalty was soft, and it wasn't the best taken, but we really should have been ahead either way, with some great chances. To me it was more a lack of rub of the green rather than poor forward play. I thought Goss had his best game for us today, as well as Tierney. They both have an eye for a pass, and watching them make space for themselves and play the ball forward makes me even more annoyed at the alexanderball era. If we're going to keep trying to play like that, I can live with the bad results. Sol and Lamie had the utd forwards in their pocket, and that's as solid as I've seen them. Fair enough, Dundee utd are shite, but they have some really good players that could have caused us trouble, but we didn't let them .

They've been sticking mulgrew in midfield
-
Thought we'd see him on the bench, but I assume he hasn't trained with us yet, and probably has to get his shit together after the late move. Also nice to see us rewarding a winning team again.
