So, who do we have left that's out of contract? Grimshaw, Donnelly, Roberts, Amaluzor... Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

As far as his recruitment goes, I can't remember the last time we had a squad where there's only one player I'd be gutted to lose, and for the record, at the time I thought we'd recruited well. This seems very Gannon-y, where we dont find out the signings are good until another manager uses them.

Just play an XI of Robinsons signings and confuse the fuck out of him with him being in the home dugout as well. Wear the Livingston strips too for the extra headfuck. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

If we still insist on 3 up front: Kelly SOD Sol Lamie Carroll Donnelly Slattery Cornelius Woolery KVV Roberts If we want to abandon ineffective wingers and not kid ourselves on that KVV will bring others into the game: Kelly Sod Sol Mugabi Lamie Carroll Cornelius Donnelly Slattery Goss KVV I don't care too much if Ojala and McGinley are in there instead. As far as Cornelius goes, maybe we should play Shaw, but we might as well get some development time for our own guy. SOD and Carrol may work better as wingbacks if there's an actual midfield. I agree with KVV as the lone striker with two more in midfield. Our wingers are ineffective, and Van Veen doesn't use them anyway. Two out of Goss, Tierney, Slattery and O'Hara is probably an upgrade over shields and Efford. However, that lineup would only work if we start passing the ball. My worry would be that we'd set up that way, and punt the ball up to KVV anyway. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

This has been some season for shite managers. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

That rumour has being going for a while and could be bollocks. However, whether the player is right or wrong, what do you expect a manager to do if a player undermines him? In this case I don't think it's any more than what the manager said publically. Alexander said that Slattery needed to improve his fitness/discipline, and that he had to be managed due to this being his first season of first team football. I believe GA is telling the truth there, although I don't agree that we need to limit the minutes of a 23 year old, who is at an age where he needs to be learning by playing games. The same goes for all the body language analysis that has begun now that we're getting shite results. There seems to be enough team spirit there, and we're not chucking games. I'm not seeing a lack of effort out there either. I don't think our situation is any more complex than our manager not being that good. Also, if our board read this forum regularly we'd be firing managers left right and center and ripping up player contracts every week. The fact is online fandom is a small percentage of our fan base, and often hits the extremes with bubbles for each. The attendance for the next game will tell the story if there is one.

Watt wanted to leave and worked with Utd to force our hand. It's pretty clear all that didn't go public without Watt's involvement, and with his history, anyone thinking he would have got over it after a couple of games is kidding themselves. Also, when you start making exceptions to your wage structure, it's a slippery slope. The club did the right thing in this regard. One player wasn't the reason we were 4th at the end of last year, and isn't the reason we're in freefall now. I'm more concerned that we can't keep a consistent lineup together, and aren't maximizing the minutes of our best players. We've stuck by some poor performers, whilst others have a short leash for some reason. This erratic decision making is killing us and is 100% on the manager, who seems to be more focused on making a point than doing his job. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

This top six myth is killing us, we're in free fall and kidding ourselves on. While it is still mathematically unlikely to finish 11, we look like a team that could defy those odds spectacularly. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

We are in very real danger of a playoff spot, as we got exactly what we deserved today. Absolutely woeful. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

We need to do whatever it takes to edge this one, don't care if it's the shifest to end all shitfests. Bring on Slattery to bring up the st Johnstone foul count. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

What was VV booked for? The guy hit him on the back of the head and should have been sent off. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

We were always in the game with that hibs defence, and we did well to mitigate the sending off. We should have used our subs earlier though, there were a few that were dead on their feet. Fuck knows what mugabi was thinking with that challenge, he deserves the Carrol treatment for selling the jerseys. Roberts was lucky, considering who the ref was, but his did look more clumsy than reckless. Jasper should have had a second yellow as well. The thing with their keeper was dumb, lamie waited too long to go down. Fair play to Donnelly for levelling Jasper late in the second half, he seemed a lot quieter after that. I though he was decent. I don't expect to see Ojala next season. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

It's funny to see the sensitive ones take offence to one gesture from a player, after firing dogs abuse at the guy for weeks. It's almost as if people are affected by the actions of others. I'm sure they'll all be telling him to fuck off if he scores the winner in the quarter final. None of our players are on form, Donnelly included, but some can have a series of stinkers and get nicknames and songs, while others will get hounded from the first minute. It's a weird stance to take when we support a club that has to find players and rehabilitate/improve them. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

A lot of the time Slattery was in the team, Watt was there too. We also haven't had the same combination in midfield very often, which I think is more the problem. I do think we should be finding a way to get as many of our best players on the park as possible, and to me that includes Slattery. If he has defensive deficiencies, then we should find a way to mitigate that. Conspiracy theories aside, its true that this is his first season of senior football, so I could understand a rest here and there, but being out the picture for 10 plus games doesn't make sense. Surely match experience is what would help him improve? As for the Donnelly hate, way over the top once again. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

The lengths that every team has gone to to avoid success this year is astonishing. No one wants to win the league, no one wants Europe, and no one wants to stay up. The cup final this year is going to penalties and will eventually be decided on a coin toss. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Dundee were absolutely hopeless, and we robbed them. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

The ref has been bad, but we've been awful. Every one of our players seem to be actively avoiding space. They had a wee bit of luck for their goal, but it was a good finish once he got control of it. Effords goal reminded me of Dougie's in the 6-2 against hibs, finishing well after fluffing the first attempt. Wouldnt be surprised if we made 3 changes at the half again. Poor game and never a penalty in a hundred years. We really should have tried testing their goalie though. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Kelly kept us in it with some world class saves in the first half. We definitely planned to sit in and be cagey from the start, hoping to press later on, and I guess it worked. I think we bottled it at the end though, we had them on the ropes and could have nicked it, but it's not my job that's on the line so fair play to GA. Hopefully Woolery has now realized he's faster than most full backs and can body just about anyone. His run for the first goal was fantastic. He was good when he came on against Aberdeen too, so hopefully things are clicking. Amaluzor gave a good account of himself and is far more of a pest than our other options. Shaw also had a good half and both should be in contention for next week. I thought Donnelly and Lamie were excellent, it's amazing that we're all sitting here rueing the fact that lamie is leaving. I'm always going to have a soft spot for Donnelly due to how cynical he is, hopefully he can stay clear of injury. Cornelius also worked his arse off, and it's great to see him slowly grow into a regular first team player. I would absolutely have taken a point before today, so pretty happy with that. Rattling them to the degree that they were greeting for penalties for the last ten mins while queuing up to squander one one ones made it a bit sweeter. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

And my best ever tweet of "whit's Gboly dae'n Tom?" got double figures of retweets. What a day. Also, James Scott acting like he didn't know what the big deal was was priceless, and only trumped by the fact Gboly scored the goal but got none of the stick:-) Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Discounting McGinley, who has now signed, O'Hara is the only one I'd keep, and even then I wouldn't be too fussed if he went. Would have kept lamie too. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Backup keepers barely play, but we still need one, so Fox is fine. If PJ is a realistic contender he needs as much game time as possible somewhere. It was nice when we had Gillespie and Carson, but that was a total accident. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
