  1. Everyone is great on YouTube. The usual “wait until we see him with our own eyes, give him a chance” caveat applies, but fuck me, my love for wingers is dying. the Humphries brigade are going to call him Ronaldo.
  2. Wingers, wingers, wingers,
  3. I believe based on previous comments we're looking for Brock Lesnar.
  4. He's already signed with accies.
  5. Probably more chance of curtis main.
  6. Would that count as our comeback for the year?
  7. We're safe, give it Christy t'end of season. Edit - fuck, is he really 25?
  8. I think we probably have someone lined up, but the reality with us is that if a team meets our valuation for a player we're going to sell him and worry about later.
  9. That seems a bit closer to reality as far as a fee goes. I’m disappointed to see him go, I think he’s pretty close to really putting it together for us. I hope we have a replacement lined up.
  10. He’ll be some right back
  11. Casper “you can’t fire me if I don’t exist” sloth
  12. Moult did the podcast this week, was a good one.
  13. Hull haven't picked the best time to lowball us. With the league position, the time left on scotts contract, the fact we've brought in money from sales recently, and the decent number of saleable assets we have, we're hardly desperate to sell. Add to that the fact we have no time to replace him, they'd have to offer us silly money.
  14. Completely different injuries, knees are complex, and looking at the scar on turnbulls knee that was some size of a keyhole.
  15. He’s half decent. Maybe we can sign him until Lafferty is available again.
  16. We have one, but I’m not sure what it is, I think 10% is pretty standard. I see some French clubs are keen on him.
  17. George long in goal for hull against Chelsea. Made a couple of good saves.
  18. The selections were fine at the time based on how mciver and illic did against Aberdeen. Mciver looks to be closer to a center forward than the others and didn't look miles away. Manzinga looked ok coming on off the bench, but he was fresh and hibs were tired. As said above, his performances in the reserves are what you want to look at. It doesnt mean he wont improve, but he's not the saviour either.
  19. Doidge was lucky not to get sent off for an elbow, and donnelly's yellow could have been a red with another ref. Omeonga also continued to foul after getting a yellow for persistent fouling. Then there was the hibs corner that wasnt. Not a textbook refereeing performance.
  20. I went with Hartley, his best game in a while and he was solid. Gallagher nearly sold the jerseys near the end. I like a composed defender but he just got a little too laid back there. Campbell was also excellent.
  21. Can't complain too much with a clean sheet and a point, but we really should have won that. I thought Hartley looked really good today, and McIver did a good job in his first start. It is disappointing that we couldn't take advantage of Scott roasting their right back in the first half. Does grimshaw ever cross a ball?
  22. Devine to QotS for the rest of the season, hes highly thought of, so this will be some good experience. I'd expect a few more to go out this month. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2020/01/23/david-devine-loaned-to-queen-of-the-south/
  23. Unless long is going to be out for 3+ weeks, I don’t see us signing anyone. He was very complimentary of McIver and Ilic, who would be like new players if they start to perform, Manzinga has been fit enough to be on the bench lately, and Ndjoli just came in. Robbo even mentioned Sloth starting to come into the reckoning, and with that and the possibility of Dunne and Turnbull returning, we’re going to be good for numbers. it was also encouraging to hear him talk about not blocking the pathway for our young players. Another loan would do just that, and loans are all that are out there right now.
