We didn't have much in the way of midfield options on the bench, but that's where we needed the extra body when we brought Hartley on. Maguire for either Scott or Hylton at that point would have made more sense to me. But even if we did go with the extra defender, bringing on seedorf was dumb as fuck.

Don't know what happened to us at half time, but we were all over the place and them going ahead was just inevitable, as poor a half of football I've ever seen from us. Legitimately the worst game half of those players have had for us. Mugabe was particularly terrible. We were far from convincing in the first half as well, with a big let off in the first couple of minutes, right before our well taken goal.

I'm totally complacent, we will hammer them. The good thing is that the players wont be complacent, and we'll still hammer them. Someone who hasn't scored will score tomorrow.

A couple of their chances came when they were throwing everything into getting back into the game at the end. Campbell also had a great chance for us, and there was the disallowed goal and Polworth’s 1on1. We were also the better team over most of the game and looked comfortable. We were in no way lucky to win.

They missed one sitter and Gillespie made two good saves, all at a time where were were sitting in an playing more defensively, weirdly enough. Was convinced Thomas was going to sneak a goal. We should have killed it when Polworth was 1on1, but that aside I thought he had a good game in place of Donnelly. long is scary fast, and we need to find a way to exploit it more. I think he’d be a lot more effective in a 2. Thought Scott was excellent too. whatever Andy Rose used to do is what O’Hara did today. Don’t know if that’s good or bad.

Thought that was Carroll’s best game for us, with the added bonus of a goal.

It’s Seedorf every time. He started the season getting them on target and they now seem to be getting further away every game.

He’s been desperate to get O’Hara in, and there’s no harm in giving Polworth a break, but we’ll probably se a few changes over these three games into the break. He’s mixed and matched the forward guys all season, so I wouldn’t look into that too much.

But if Murphy did pay people to lick his arsehole and then he signed for us it would be amateur hour stuff by Motherwell. I can’t believe they would do that. The silence from the club on this is deafening.

A fit Murphy would be a great signing and would fit in to our system really well, but unless he’s fit and ready to go after the break it would be as pointless a signing as McCormack last year. We’d as well just bring Higdon and Coyne back if the warm and fuzzies are all we’re after.

We’re 4th after 18 games, including playing the ugly sisters twice each, and they are the only teams that have scored more than us, that’s how good we are. We were poor today, and I have a feeling that Rangers only played as well as they needed to, and could have stepped up if required. Saying that, long and cole had good opportunities to score that really should have been put away, so it was hardly a drubbing. Hylton could have just sat down in the centre circle for 70 mins and had the same impact. That’s the deal with wingers though. Campbell is really improving on the ball and growing as a player, it’s great to watch. This was the first time I’ve saw Kent and I don’t see what the fuss is about. Morelos will never leave rangers because he’d be found out somewhere else.

We’ve been really sloppy, and are lucky to be still in the game. Seems half the team just want to get the game out the way.

Hearts had a couple of half chances, we were deserved winners.

Berra really does piss his pants at every decision, was fun watching him get wound up at the end. That red card was funny as well. Good set up and finish for the goal, but I’m going to give moment of the match to Donnelly for his cynical challenge in the last 10, and Grimmy man of the match for his Hammell-esque drawing out of throw ins.

Robinson mentioned that there was an illness going through the squad, so that might explain some things. Polwarth is going to be our leader in assists by a crazy margin come the end of the season, and probably right up there with the highest in the league, he’s a good player.

St J had some good play without making more than a couple of half chances. We did well to stay patient before the first goal when they were pressing us and hoping to hit on the counter. It took a bit of skill from hylton and an excellent cross to cole to break the deadlock, and that pretty much sealed the result as it scuppered their game plan. Polworth put in some excellent deliveries today for some well worked corners, and we looked dangerous at every one, including the two goals. and the save in the first half. We got complacent for a while at 2-0, with scott making some bad decisions in defense, but we recovered well and he put in an excellent ball to O’Hara for the 4th. St johnstone could be in danger since they have that “too good to go down” air about them.

I like the theory that Celtic faked a medical report and forced Turnbull to somehow persuade a surgeon to fuck about with his perfectly fine knee to an extent where he can’t play football for 6+ months. That would have been some consultation.

One of those games where Celtic were happy to play within themselves and do just enough to get the win. We never really threatened bar a few half chances, and there was always the threat of Celtic going up the gears if they needed to. Thought cole and Polworth were decent, and maguire filled in well. The og was a shame, Tait needed to get a touch cos there was a guy at the back post waiting for a tap in. Gallagher’s last ditch tackle in the first half was class, and I thought he and Mugabi were solid enough.
