I'm sure rangers would love to have him, but they have no money and he has a fair bit of contract left, so that's not happening. I don't think we'll lose cadden this window, but doubt he will last the summer. I'm more worried about Moult, and hope that if he does go that it's on he back of a great December, and then Ryan bowman steals his mojo somehow. Lucas and belic will surely be gone, and I'm guessing Laing will be loaned out for the rest of the year. As for incoming, can definitely see Pearson coming back as I have a feeling that was arranged when he left, but I don't see anyone else coming in this time.

Blyth and bowman are on contracts, so unless someone wanted to take them from us, they're going nowhere. Also, there's a chance moult gets sold, so we're going to need forwards. Lucas and belic will go because their deals are up and it should free enough cash to bring someone in who is not injured.

I figured hammell would be back, but assume that Lucas must be injured to not be on the bench after last week.

Tarrant tore us apart in a cup game for Ayr, which pretty much led to his move to villa which didn't go well. I thought he was a great signing until he stepped on the park and realized he wasn't playing against us anymore. Nope. Just checked he was on loan at Ayr from villa after scoring a load of goals for Ross county.

Some forgettable fill ins: Franz Resch (known for signing at the same time as Mario Dorner) Danny Murphy (known for signing alongside Trevor Molly and his taxi driver).

Was curcic a loan? Lewis Grabban was one that did nothing for us then had a career, then Jamie mcclen? Was one from Newcastle that was poor. Or am I imagining him? Kevin McBride was a loan from Celtic who was good in his loan spell but kind of went backwards once he signed. Callum Elliot was probably the worst loan in our history.

If it's more than 750k it's amazing. So that's our bases covered on the hypothetical stuff. The buying club is us usually who specifies that the fee be undisclosed, and it's still money whether the fans know the amount or not.

The mchugh and Sampson injuries took a bit of time.

We may spend a small fee, like we did for moult or Marvin, but the money would be better used for wages.

Are there any other hypothetical situations that we can get pissed off about? I personally think it would be a disgrace if we sold Moult to rangers for a tenner.

I've heard plenty of managers say stuff along the lines of "we'd like to bring in one more, but that will depend on moving one or two on first" or "we couldn't afford to keep so and so" As for McDonald, is there any chance we can wait till something actually happens before we all start freaking out at the club? At this point in time there seems to be no substance in the story.

Maybe we're actively trying to move some players on, so it would be a good idea to have a look at the possible replacements while we can.

I don't believe a word McGhee says in interviews, and a lot of the time I do t think he does either. I am sure we will see at least one outgoing, not including loans. However, if this is the squad we're stuck with I think we have enough to be in the discussion for 5th -7th, but one or two injuries could see us struggle.
