Nerves got to the commentator there, had to make a sharp exit! Can feel his pain, that was tense.

What is to suggest that they are anything but completely made up?

This is what bothers me, why are we looking at the English non-league as the only place we can buy players and sell them on? Surely we could keep these nominal fees in the Scottish game and develop Scottish players to sell on just the same? Are the likes of moult and bowman cheaper? Or are English clubs just not interested in Scottish players? -
Bold statement considering our last 3 manager searches!

McManus was in the dugout because faddy was in the squad. Pretty sure he's been involved in coaching in some capacity for a while. We're already paying him so might as well give him something to do while he's injured.

Says a lot about our league that as terrible as we've been over a long period, our survival is currently in our (albeit inept) hands. The hamilton game is going to be a total shit show. -
Who did the South American consortium end up buying?

We have that damning trait of thinking we're a good team, while those around us are scrapping for everything. The accies game is huge, and as shite as they are they they know how to kick, scratch and cheat to a result when they need to, while we're still under the illusion we have quality. We could end up in a playoff with ICT in he last game just to avoid automatic relegation. -
I get that we were shite and lost, but we scored 2, so I wouldn't say their defense coasted it.
-
A whole bunch of our players are out of contract in the summer, many of whom are high earners, and moult is likely to be sold. The rebuild is inevitable. I assume that if we go down we'll keep on the older players who are probably done if we stay up.
-
Other than the obvious nepotism, John Davies was one of the "did well against us so let's sign him, even though he only looked good because we were shite" brigade, along with kampmann and Neil Tarrant.

Was moult scouted by our current head of recruitment or the last one? We're terrible, and every bottom six team probably has us down as 3 points in the bag right now. -

From what I saw on periscope, we're god awful. How Partick don't have 3+ I don't know, they were walking right through us. -

We're going to concede, so might as well go Kevin Keegan on them and start ainsworth, Frear, skippy, Moult, and bowman, with cadden and Pearson in the middle. Maybe this way we can score 2. -

Lionel is the only attacking option on the bench, so I reckon Blyth will get another 15 mins unless we choose to bring on lasley and play with 2 up top. -

We have a relatively favorable run in, but we still need to put in the work to get the results, and the other teams will see us as a chance to pick up points. I'll take a last minute controversial penalty scored on the third rebound tomorrow as long as we get the win. -

Jim O'Brien sent off for county, for diving. -
Competition is always good, maybe we'll make more from the sell on than we did from the initial fee the way English clubs throw money at each other.

Do you mean it's not some sort of Russian fake news conspiracy as suggested by some social media rants? The chief exec posted on twitter that he's reading Rudy guilliani's biography, so I just thought we'd got rid of Kennedy because he knew too much.

Signed for Fylde apparently
-
If ainsworth had anything to offer, it would have been nice if he offered it in the last year or so. I'm sure we can get an attacking bench warmer for cheaper.

Is there a way to have frear and Thomas in the team? Or is Thomas on the outs too?

This doesn't really fit in the other threads, but I'm interested in figuring out what kind of squad we could have come the end of the season, and what holes we will need to fill, and how we may approach that if we go down. As far as I'm aware the following are all out of contract, not including the u20s: Lasley, Kennedy, Moore, Ainsworth, Pearson, Faddy, Lucas, Samson, McDonald, sub goalie, Jules, chalmers - Would we bring any of these back? 1 more year - clay? Blyth? bowman, Moult, Hammel, McManus? Thomas - any extension possibilities? Don't know - cadden, frear, heneghan, mchugh, tait With the likelihood that our front two won't see next season at fir park, it looks like we will have bowman and someone. Will Mackin be an option? In midfield we have mchugh and clay, with maybe cadden if he isn't sold, then add Campbell, hastie and Mclean from the u20s. Defense looks worst though, with Hammel still under contract and as injury prone as he is now, we need a viable lb option. My assumption is that if we go down we will push the u20s into the team, but maybe we should do that anyway?

We play each of the teams we need to finish above twice, right? Our biggest concern right now is what the other teams do the week we play rangers. If we can get anything from that game, or the other shite teams also lose, we have control of our destiny. Any ideas as to how the post split fixtures are likely to shape up for home and away?
