I think a big key to this season will be forcing Marv, Lionel and skippy to fight for their place. If all three are sharp then we'll be more than fine. Thomas making a claim for a regular spot really helps here. I assume that our 2 remaining signings will be a midfielder and a right back.

If he can play wide then I can see why we brought him in, cover for the forwards while fletcher is out and while skippy covers in midfield, and since our game is based around the wingers (and we know Lionel and Marv will blow hot and cold) he can provide competition there.

It's Gary Locke we're talking about, for him getting the right number of players on the park is an achievement.

Twitter has the guy who was sitting with the team as striker Theo Robinson, and Wikipedia doesn't rate him. Would be surprised if we signed another striker, but wouldn't be surprised if this was the caliber of we did.
