There was absoluteley no movement up front on the few times we had the ball, and our general passing was terrible. Both Laing and Grimshaw had terrible first touches, and chalmers did nothing to fill me with confidence. God knows what has happened to Johnson, but he showed nothing to suggest that he was ever a threat. Part of this may be that he is better suited to making runs wide and being played in by the midfielders, instead of working from deep. The scoreline flattered us too, with us getting away with 2 stonewall penalties.

Forgot this one, the game where Jamie Dolan had to go in goal, Billiy Davies scored a header, Andy Roddie had a good game, and Ian Ross scored the winner. Somehow my mate missed every goal, he was seething. I miss the games too. Even the cold 0-0s at Rugby Park and Pittodrie.

The Scottish cup game where he curled it in from the right? Think mcskimming also scored that day.

I'm not paying $15 a month to watch a max of 3 Motherwell games, so it will be a stream for me. Wish the old "live stream for overseas fans" idea didn't die a death along with MFC.tv

I can remember the occasion of the 91 cup final, but not really the game. The best single match I've attended would be the CIS semi final against hearts at Easter road in 2005. My son was born a few weeks earlier, so my brother and I had a few pre match shots to celebrate. That year was when this board was probably at its peak, and the cup run added to it, and the atmosphere in the ground was great. The whole occasion of the semi was awesome, and the game itself encapsulated all that is Motherwell, with us throwing away a lead then leaving it to an unlikely hero to pull it back. Then slating said hero for the remainder of his tenure. Still can't find any decent highlights online to share, although many of us have the dvd, which I'm going to fire on now since I'm working from home.

I notice that Falkirk stream live games for non-uk residents, is there a reason why they can do this and we can't?

I'm more interested in seeing who plays, and if there is a reaction from the squad, than the result to be honest. The same goes for next week. Taking points from both is possible, but most of us have written these games off. It will also be nice to see a game for a change, at breakfast time.

I do prefer McGhee's interviews to Bara's, as he at least comes across as having a clue.

In years gone past we would have hired and fired folk in non manager positions and no one would have cared less. Same goes for administrative staff. As much as I like hearing all that goes on at the club, it can work against them when they make a big deal about recruiting guys, for them to disappear without comment. Anyone know if we replaced the head of recruitment?
-
We were doing the same for the last guy I'm sure.

Always good to see who turns it on after phoning it in for the last couple of months.

What influence could burrows realistically have had? He was interviewed by the football committee and the owner, after touting himself for the job in the paper. He was hardly dragged out of obscurity.
-
Comebacks are what we do, so I agree.
-
Good point on simo. If we were two games from winning the league or cup, and our manager publicly applied for another job, this place would meltdown. At least McGhee waited until the end of the season.

Bold move by the sun considering they pronounced MVG as manager last time http://thesun.uk/6012B3EPG I'm now convinced it isn't going to be muttley.
-
I'll base my opinion on the manager on who just scored, every time that happens.
-
Usually the insider hints are stronger at this stage, so I'm not convinced it's McGhee either. Think Kenny Shiels has been leaking Mcghee's name to make himself seem like a better option when he gets it.
-
I'm sure it is better for him if there is a release to the press that he turned the job down, rather than that he was told he was unsuccessful. Guess it depends on who we go with. If it's some nobody then we can agree that craigan was our only choice, but if it is someone like McGhee I don't think we told him that we'd offer him the job if craigan said no.
-
It won't be craigan according to the sun http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/motherwell/6688512/You-can-rule-me-out-Les.html?CMP=spklr-_-Editorial-_-TWITTER-_-scotsunsport-_-20151012-_-SunScotSport-_-253054333-_-Imageandlink

Then he takes off his mask and he's Ian baraclough, it was him all along, because that's the only level of comeback we haven't done yet.
-
We're better at comebacks than WWE. Hopefully we unveil him at half time on Saturday after he chibs a Celtic player while wearing a mask.
-
I have, don't know about the other guy.
-
Just throw Gannon in as a scout and Tommy as director of football.
-
Did he say next week as in next week, or next week as in this week because he said it yesterday? If it's next week I can take a week off Twitter.
