Funny enough I was not surprised we lost today. I am now resigned to getting relegated either by play offs or straight relegation. We don't have the players required to escape this (unlike against the H*ns). This situation has been caused by the board choosing the cheapest options at every level from Conference level players at best to inexperienced coaching staff, (McFadden and Lasley ) to choosing Robinson as manager, we hardly got even a dead cat bounce from him. The rot started before he was appointed but results and performances in the last few games have been some of the worst in my time as a Well supporter. I can't see anyway out of this and losing 2 home games at the start of the fixtures has put us in deep, deep trouble. Next week we need to show some real fight and not just paper talk from the players. Moult and McDonald need to start scoring soon and defence need to do the basics right - oh and get Zak Jules to fuck.

Totally agree. I would love to say a season down in the Championship would do us good, but I think we are in a downward cycle and won't be back up anytime soon. This has been caused by choosing the cheap option from players to managers and coaching staff. As you say our only ray of hope is our youngsters and we will be relying on them next year.

Goals have dried up and with our leaky defence we are looking fucked. Another error costs us and now next week is the ultimate must win.

Chicken and egg. How do we break the cycle? Better recruitment or coaching? We don't seem to buy players who can deliver a good long ball or head one!!! We are in trouble if we don't come up with a solution.

The long ball pish apart from being totally ineffective with the players we have has largely contributed to the decline in attendances over the last few seasons. At least when we had Johnson on the wing we had alternative out ball now we don't.

I am totally confused about the management structure at the club following the transfer of ownership to the fans WS. Normally, in any organisation, even charitable ones, you have a figure head (a CEO or Managing director) he is responsible for the implementation of a strategy agreed by the main board. There would be a Chairman who manages the board and reports to shareholders. How does this normal corporate governance structure compare with the current WS model. I have seen numerous communications from the WS but none off them make it clear how decisions are take. It may be that I don't quite get the model and it has been explained so apologies if I have missed it. But who is ultimately in charge of financial decisions at the club i.e who carries the can? Who ultimately makes major football decisions? Who the fuck do I complain to about the shambles the club is in? Myself as a fan owner? Flow is mentioned a lot and complained about but he is just an employee and I don't see that he has much power over these types of decisions, I could be wrong but I just don't know. I think the reason we are in such a state is a sign the overall structure is just not working, I don't necessarily think the WS model is bad I just don't think it has been implemented properly. Everyone is hiding and there is no clarity on who makes decisions. Apologies if this offends board members but I feel I know about business but this structure is not transparent. Any clarification would be much appreciated because I am stumped.

We all want the team to do well but to turn a blind eye to the dross being served up is just kidding ourselves. I get tired of hearing how it will all be different next week, we are better than our position, too good to be relegated etc. etc. . Yes we have had injuries but that is why we have a squad. Problem runs deeper than Robinson in that he has inherited one of the worst squads in my time of supporting Motherwell. I will always support the team but I am going to reserve my right to call out poor performances and silly management decisions.

I was also unhappy with the appointment of Robinson, he was too involved with old regime and had not been successful at Oldham. A new manager from outside would have brought fresh perspective. On the positives we don't ship as many goals but we are shapeless, the players don't appear up for the fight, hopelessly too direct and can't score. This is relegation form. We also are not carrying any luck with injuries and decisions unlike the Accies. However we are stuck with this squad and manager now and I can't se how we get out of this, except that Dundee, ICT and still the Accies are in same boat so a dogfight ahead. Win against ICT and things can change but we have been saying that all season. I fear the worst and think we will get play off place at best.

Maybe that is because they are all saying what is obvious. We are crap. What grinds my gears is the happy clappers pointing out that next week will different and we can win and go 9th, 18 points to play for, etc and Shite, Shite and more shite.
