  1. But we did not look like winning or scoring. Manager setting up not too loose and when we loose an early soft goal we are fucked.
  2. Absolutely atrocious in first half. Not sure what Robinson is trying to achieve. Like his time at Oldham his team doesn't score goals. Don't see anyway out of this now.
  3. Didn't realise this. Thought he was in from the start of Barra's reign. He clearly did make a difference.
  4. Good point but could have been better given performance. Well done lads.
  5. Kind of agree but we scored 3 against Celtic and lost 4. So I still contend defence is our biggest problem.
  6. I agree but he is fighting with one hand behind his back with the shit players we have and the inability to defend. How much Robinson was involved in helping pick these players and coaching them? I don't know but certainly we are shocking defensively and have been all season.
  7. Simple defending errors are costing us week after week. Last week we switched off for the late winner and today we gave Craig too much space. This will be the reason why we go down (if we do) this season. We are totally disorganised defensively.
  8. All we can go on is his track record. Just been reading the Oldham fans forum and general consensus was he was poor, could organise defence but team could not score, worst manager ever etc. etc.. Now I know he inherited 5 players and had to build a squad but Sheridan has started to win games with same players. So you see where many of us are coming from. There is no doubt he is a good coach but is he a good manager? I sincerely hope he proves us all wrong and will be right behind him for the rest of the season.
  9. I think for the teams morale and for the fans to get behind Robbo it is a don't loose game. Given the way the appointment has polarised the support it would be great to get of to a winning result. However a draw would not be a bad result.
  10. His budget at Caley was slashed after the cup win and it was less than he thought he had agreed. He is only manager at Raith until end of season so don't think budgets would have came into it. But just pure guessing on my part. Just really hope it all works out well for Robbo.
  11. Same as with John Hughes who won trophy with Caley and had them in top six. I assume there was payment to Raith required to get him. If so very shortsighted. Also, maybe Simo wanted his own assistants. We will never know.
  12. Pretty uninspired and lacking in ambition and don't see the crowds rushing back with his brand of football. I can't see me getting on the early train from Aberdeen any time soon. However, survival is what we need and hopefully we do become hard to beat and avoid relegation and the play-offs. I am coloured by the outcome of the last time we tried this with Malpish. I can't come up with too many coaches who have stepped up to be successful managers. However, wish him well.
  13. I think this is unfair. I would rather trhe club took its time and got the right man. I am sure we would all be happy with this.
  14. Ref gave them every 50:50 decision. A complete miskick from Hayes set McGinn up. Jammy bastards.
  15. I think he was celebrating his 200th goal. He is an arsehole though!!!
  16. Great result and much improved second half performance. Well done. COYW
  17. Lasley giving him the VoC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39096560
  18. Craigan did not do so well when he took over a couple of seasons back. Remember being gubbed up at Dundee when he was in charge. I think he and Robinson will take temporary charge. Like the Simo suggestion but is he still available? I would like someone like Gary Rowett but probably way out of our range finically and we will end up with someone like Danny Lennon.
  19. We have Aberdeen the week after Killie and we could be 11th or bottom after this. IMHO this is too late for change and we would struggle to get out of this. Yes there may only be a short "mythical managerial bounce" but given the players attitude under McGhee and the fact that the bottom 6 are still relatively closely packed it must be worth trying a new man at the helm now.
  20. I have felt like jacking in the subscriptions I pay for me, wife and sons until McGhee goes as a protest. However, this just hurts the club and probably won't do much unless a lot of folk did the same. There will be financial consequences as i think the crowd will continue to fall dramatically after performances like that. Difficult to decide how to best express my unhappiness other than ranting on here.
