I agree but it is the absolute humping we are getting tonight that can damage confidence and another one on Saturday will be bad for morale. Difficult to just shrug these off.

I think probably arrived week too late, but as I don't know much about the guy McGhee might see things differently. Samson has been pretty steady last few games so given that this is a big game he likey starts on bench.

I think this is a bit harsh on Erwin. I don't think he had time to prove himself with us and only showed in flashes what he was capable off. Also people with better judgement than most of us on here thought he had some potential and skill. He is certainly still to show that potential but to say he is not good is a bit wide of the mark.

McGhee sounded gutted. He said he felt let down, not something you would usually expect to hear. But I suppose he set his team up a certain way and it worked only for a complete fuck up to cause it all to collapse. He sounds exactly like I feel.

Fucking devastated. Never in any danger for most of second half and 2 defensive mistakes, fucks us up. McManus runs out after the Fat boy crosses it leaving the rest of the defence standing, just stay where you are and head it away. What the fuck was he trying for the pass for the second goal- your not Baressi yah fucking diddy just get it into the stand. How come our 30 somethings fall apart and are breathing out their arses in the last 10 mins when Miller comes alive. Not good enough and can you imagine what Mpult must be thinking? he burst his guts on his own for 70 odd minutes and scores a great goal only to be let down by someone probably earning twice his pay. He will be off as soon as he has a decent offer. Complete shite.

Defence was terrible at set pieces all night. Taylor had 4 free headers and Consediene had 1. This has been a failing for a couple of seasons and needs to be eradicated. Also, we were over run in midfield. Every time we lost a ball (very frequently!!!) in an attacking move they broke and had 20-30 yards to run into. Leaving aside the poor quality we have in midfield we should have played another man in midfield. How do we do this? Not sure with the current squad but we have a very unbalanced squad at present. Hopefully we can get McHugh back and sign a proper midfielder that can tackle and pass. Disappointing night and a number of the players don't look up for the fight. We need a few additions in January.
