Just a thought that maybe this is the way forward on fees as it seems we get more from Development Fees than actual transfer fees. The player usually just lets contract run down. Although if he has been with us from youth would still get development fee. Sorry to see the lad go but I am sure someone will fill his boots (so to speak).

Totally agree but he was better than the rest and that is saying something!!!!

Gomis - at least he had some sweat on him and made a tackle. The rest were pish to a man.

My first game was in April 1963. Motherwell 2-1 Dundee. I spent most of my time running about the main stand annoying my dasd. Now I just do the same in The East Stand except I now annoy my son.

Sounds like we dodged a bullet but phuque it. how many times have we lost out to undeserved last minute goals this season. A great run of results and likely a top six finish and a relaxed last few games. Lets hump the Tims next week. -
Lets hope there is road works!!!

As much as it makes me feel dirty ----get it right up you Sheep Shagging wankers. Out in Aberdeen tonight to enjoy myself. Well done the Well. Great result.

Very confused by this. Everything I have read paints a rosy picture and that it would appear the WS has exceeded expectations. The last I heard we had failed to meet the number of members paying each month by quite a way. I suspect there is a financial tsunami facing the club. However, I could be wrong and we need much more clarity in terms of budgets and projections. As a member of the WS I feel this has always been lacking and we now need to understand the full financial ramifications of taking ownership and to know what is required in terms of near and medium term funding. I am not confident this information will be forthcoming. I know fans who don't want to throw money into the black hole that is the WS at present. I do fear for the club's future unless the fans do get behind the club in a bigger way than we have done until now.

Great news if correct (it is the Sun after all!!!) -
As much as I would enjoy this i would rather be sitting back with a relaxing glass of wine in my hand as we hold celtic to a draw on the last day of the season to finish 6th in the league, whilst watching Kilmarnock score a 96th minute equaliser to send this shower of shit down into oblivion.

Glad to beat that shower of shit. Dirty Barstewards. Don't care how we did it take 3 points of them anyway!!!

Yes but we don't seem to be able to string these wins together. Hopefully Hamilton keep fucking up as I cant see us going on a winning rub. -

One manager made substitutions to win the game the other not to loose it. Backfired big time. -
Wrong place for this. This seems way over the top punishment for the lad setting of the flare. I know it is dangerous but 5 months prison? http://www.scotsman.com/news/motherwell-fan-jailed-for-smokebomb-during-game-1-4019363

But that would spoil the illusion!!! Don't let the truth get in the way of a good (shit) story.

see Higdon released by Sheff Utd. Would we take him back? Not sure his age now though.

Pleased with this bit of business. Should be a good addition.

“Looking at it there, it’s not a penalty,” conceded Dundee manager Paul Hartley, whose side crept back into the top six as a result of it. “ In today's Herald

See Liam Caddis been released by St Johnstone. Midfielder but not sure if he is any good. Anybody seen much of him?

I always thought Gahagan was a very good player for us. I met him a few years ago at a Sportsmen's dinner up here in Sheepyland. He was speaking alongside Nobby Stiles. Great night and top fun. At the interval I approached him for his autograph and told him he had been one of my favourite players. As Nobby Stiles was in the toilet he asked me to come back and ask again when Nobby was back as he said he never got much of this. A great and funny guy.

Where HBA is concerned "playing" would be too strong a word. Must have had grounds for appeal surely.
