Missing a few chances and can't keep ball out of net. Disappointing -

He was an ugly bar steward anyway. Might improve his looks. -

But then they would have to cite Cardosa for his assault on Moult. The SFA won't touch this. -

I seem to forget the Play=off score, can anyone remind me? -
I went for Hartley as he is a real man in defence. Stood up to everything. Also thought Dunne had a very solid game after a few dodgy games recently. Carson is a class act and I don't have any problems in Moult getting the vote.

Absolutely delighted. I shed a few tears at full time for my mate iain Shedden (ex Coltness/Wishaw High) who died this week of throat cancer. He was only 60. Iain lived in Sydney and was a massive Well fan who was over for the Aberdeen game. I am sure he will be looking down with pride tonight. RIP Iain and hope the boys win the final for you. COYW -

Really pleased with this result. Should give the players the confidence to kick on. Great to see we have a relatively strong back line at last. -

Aberdeen at home if we get through. -
Never will be a footballer. Too lightweight and can't beat a pro. I understand he has been told to play like when he was at school - probably his level TBH.

Was out at my local garden centre today and I was wearing a Motherwell polo shirt. A guy came up to me and asked if I played for Motherwell. Mightily flattered I told him that I was not good enough to play for Scotlands best team. He then introduced me to his friend who was Chic McClelland. Chic played for us I believe between 79-81? Unfortunately he now has dementia and could not remember much about his time with us, he could only remember Joe Wark. He is only 64 and looks fit but his mind has gone, extremely sad and another player from that era suffering this terrible condition.

I sponsored Craig for the last season (edit it was the mighty Joe Chalmers I sponsored for 2 seasons) and he was a lovely, straightforward guy. Was always very chatty at the sponsor's dinner and I enjoyed his company. Never the greatest player in the world but he would probably admit that himself. Good luck for the future Craig.

My worry is that we appeared to get our transfer business done early and had a good pre-season training schedule (apparently!!) but we still dont look like a team with any quality. Very concerning but let's see on first Betfred cup game. Fingers crossed otherwise another shit season ahead.

I wouldn't over estimate it either. They lost £2mm last financial year. They have a new investor, he put in £100k but is mainly to try and develop "brand" in USA where he lives. They do have Hayes money but a fairly hefty wage bill.

I don't want to be a Jonah but 3 of the players we have signed are coming from relegated clubs. All the 4 signings look good on paper. Lets hope we are getting the best of a bad bunch!!!!! However, I am looking forward to this season as the club seems to be doing all the right things by getting business done early. I Know I know I am glass half empty kind of guy
