whats the bet here? us to finish 3rd? us to win the league without the OF? or a points handicap??!
-
i see where you are coming from Dee.................but Stevie Woods was "not the best" goalie, and he is meant to be a fantastic GK coach I may be wrong, but as soon as Marsh made the move from Fir PArk to Easter Road - he knew straight away that he had made a mistake theres nothing to say Marshall wont bring Randolph on a little more and get us that big money move that we are all hoping for
-
"you have been halted by the Marshall"

i think, like Killie, St Midden are much improved on last year - it aint going to be a walk in the park - (Im not MJC is disguise!!) not sure who is going to get the nod in midfield to replace lasley............all depends on how McCall sets us up. We going to stick with 442?? or change to 451? so interesting times. IMO, Forbes is talented, but he is ineffective/a liabilty/not very good when he plays as part of a 2 man centre midfield. towards the end of last season, and also into this season, has seen Carswell get the nod over Forbes i'll go for a very narrow win, stay top of the league!! but it aint going to be easy I will also predict that due to the stand behind the goal not being that big................the noisy section of our support will endure endless shouts of "gonna sit down", however keep up the good work lads. with this stand being small, you have the oppurtunity to make some real good noise
-
what season was it when we played rangers at Ibrox - opeening day, think Drubnken Duncan scored and we lost 2 nil..............then did we not go unbeaten until we played Rangers at Fir Park - top of the table clash and they beat us? think Durie scored? could be talking pish!!!!!
-
in their Shed, you can see a white wall half way up that runs right along??? anyway, point being anything in front of this is a seated area, and anything behind it is terracing - is that a solution?!?!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14399073.stm canny wait til we sign some of these players since they have no club
-
are we any further forward in finding the "person" who claims this is racist???? i'm all for people are entitled to their opinions.........but this is f**king lunacy Dazzer - you know Chris, has he any issues with this??? or with the fans? does he percieve them as racist? IMO - the person/people who deem(s) this as racist should be shot the last few weeks, this group of guys have been praised for their vocal support of the team
-
if its pitched at £10 adults £5 kids........... is there any reason why we wont take a large travelling support, or why people would want to go? apart from Accies/Airdire - it must be the closest game we could've landed
-
what competition/organisation was it last year/season that complained when "representatives" from teams never turned up and said that it devalued the competition and its sponsors?? this one? cant believe it takes 35 mins to find out who we are playing - nothing live anywhere, and not even a text update no wonder no one really cares get it back to a saturday at 5pm, after one of that rounds games, when the folk who care about the draw are on the bus / in the car on the way home and can find out where they are heading next tuesday @ 1pm - f**k off
-
a draw away to Utd is a great result - one I certainly would be happy with when we play them there i dont think Killie will be pushovers - i think we will win, IF we play to our best, but it wont be easy was certainly looking forward to Humphrey v Hay again - makes me laugh everytime, so disappointed to read that he might not be playing i think score draw!!

our new centre back http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/14187556.stm

zzzzzzzzzzzzz

you've just listed that he's been getting a chance at Rangers, albeit from the bench, so why would he want to come and warm the bench at Motherwell??? ****someone beat me to it!!!
-
thats what i thought too.......also the reason there is no hospitality?! is this not why the club cant arrange it, and why they now have testimonial commitees?
-
theres no doubt Leeds are a massive club and I for one am looking forward to seeing them play at FP, although I do hope we can get a good result to stop the English saying our game is atrocious!!! looking forward to seeing Becchio, Snodgrass and if McCormack still has a trick or two up his sleave - just read that Leeds have also signed Michael Brown - great player, altho he is pushing on a bit - playing against these players is a great test to see where MFC really is in terms of quality. No doubt the 1st 3 all have ambitions of playing in the EPL - and probably could, and Brown has played there for years i find this bit hilarious - can you imagine thats what it cost us to go to an away game - there would be a mass outcry!!!!!!!
-
I cant stand Rangers / Celtic / Hibs / Hearts..........but I still go to the game to support MY team I really dont know what some folk want - Leeds are probably the biggest team to have played at Fir Park in years - and still some folk are not happy. We played Man United a few years back, and they brought their U19s apart from Fabio.....there was about 3k at the game if you were lucky. We aint going to get a Barca, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea - and if we did, folk would then moan about the price of the tickets THE CLUB CAN NOT WIN To the Leeds fans who were asking about tickets - I believe old PC PLod will have had their say here and not MFC, they will want to know how many are coming. They are probably concerned that a few "naughty" boys might fancy the trip! However, for those who are not official members and want to come - I suggest you come along anyway, pay into the Main Stand and sit at one of the ends/wings - thats where away fans are normally housed if the South Stand is not opened. MFC are not going to refuse your money!!
-
I'm with you LD - i would never dream of paying that kind of money. It pains me enough to paythat for my season ticket! I have a family who need fed and watered - after that, I want a new fridge and my dishwasher is broken (no not the missus!!) some people piss £300 up against the wall in a weekend - but to me now, its an astonomical amount of money that will not be leaving my bank and heading towards Fir Park
-
i've heard that too........i've also heard that he defo wont go to Aberdeen it would be nice if he signed on, but clubs in a similar geographical location from where he came from are sniffing about
-
that thought did cross my mind, but i then looked at it form the point of view that if he were free to leave, then we would be paying all his wages - and i dont think we can afford that - at least with loanees, we are either paying nothing or a % its funny reading the news today that Chelsea are thinking of paying £30m for Sneijder and £175k per week - and we have McCall in the paper moaning that we cant afford £3k pw!!!!!!!!!!!
-
does this mean we wont be persuing Grella?
-
I agree with you, it certainly was not his forte - but its certainly not Higdon's either!!!
-
i think some people are going to be in for a bit of a shock when they see Higdon play.......dont get me wrong, I'm delighted we have signed him, good old fashioned centre forward who likes to put himself about and can find the back of the net but without a shadow of a doubt - Sutton had more pace and was more mobile than Higdon. Sutton will never be as quick as Kenny Miller, but he wasnt as slow as a dinosaur. He just looked very clumsy when he was running Sutton is/was fitter and quicker than Higdon - hopefully with a good pre season under his belt this will improve Anyway - delighted to have another body on board, and lets hope he gets off to a flier before the boo boys get on his back
-
he hasn't left mean what you say and say what you mean!!!!
-
nice - got to be happy with that - The Club being sensible and trying to keep the vultures away? Or just making sure if someone does come in we get a decent wad of cash
