The one in the Scotland top would be me (not Martin Parke). I was also one of those who headed to El Grande Presidente or whatever it was but can't remember it awfully well since I was fairly melted (I blame the green romanian home brew stuff I got that came from a coca-cola bottle...). Anyone else noticed how the prices have went up for the potential trip to Bucharest? I've went from having a plan for flights and accomodation for just less than £300 to looking at closer to £400 now

To be honest, I've still to see anything from Murphy that suggests he could be a good player for us, never mind that he could move to a higher level. Granted he's still young but if there's decent money offered I'd happily take it even though I think this story is nonsense. Assuming he is still here I think we should look to loan him out to the first division and see if he can cut it there (assuming we bring in a few more experienced strikers). After all that hopefully I'll be proved wrong and he'll bang them in this season and we'll get the sort of money for him that only Hibs players seem to command at the moment

Changing the subject slightly, but do we know how the draw works in terms of home and away legs? i.e. If we're drawn out first we're at home the first leg? Or will it be the same as Nancy where we need to wait for the 2 clubs to decide which way round the games are played?

Ok, I've been reading this thread for the last few days and feel the need to contribute. To me there seems to be alot of people panicking about stories in newspapers with no real fact to them. Looking at the BBC gossip page on various days shows that on that one page alone Celtic are ready to appoint 5/6 different people. At no point has McGhee said or really even hinted that he'd be leaving and nor would I expect him to whether he is or isn't. Yes I would like him to stay but if he does leave I personally have no problem with it. In his first season his team produced probably the best football I have seen from a Motherwell team in my 22 years and even the season just ended I would consider to be a fairly successful one in comparison to previous regimes. Because of this it is only logical he will be linked with other jobs. There are still 26 days until our first game and alot can happen in that time, if that does involve a change of manager then so be it, I have no doubt the board will be prepared for that possibility.

Is it not the case that the transfer window doesn't open until July 1st? If so getting players in before the first European game could be difficult... Also, are we not required to register a squad for the first round which would need to happen before the window opened?

From that list I fancy a wee trip to Luxembourg... could provide a few random routes for fans to get there like the Nancy trip.

After needing a ticket for the game myself, I find myself with a spare... If anyone wants it, let me know.
