I may have missed it but what is "Terry's" ethos exactly and how did it work out last season when they got scudded by us a few times and finished 9 points adrift of us? Or even the previous seasons when they were bottom 6?

Just looking through some of the posts about yesterday's game and the overreaction to one league defeat at the start of the season is ridiculous! Everyone keeps comparing this new team who are still looking for a settled shape and style with last years team but last year's team had some shockers too... 4-0 defeat at home to Hibs as part of a run of 5 home games without a win for starters. For what it's worth, I didn't think we were all that bad yesterday. Second half we were overrun in midfield and it's disappointing that McCall couldn't see that and either go to 4-5-1 or this 5-3-2 / 3-5-2 formation we've been trying out. They were getting too much space between our defence and midfield and to me it was crying out for Lawson or Carswell to be brought on. As for the players, Sutton was getting abuse from some individuals which I found baffling since he had very little service or support and half the ground seemed to be willing Hollis to make a mistake... mental. I dare say there will be some poor results this season as there is every season but some people really need to chill out at this stage... we will comfortably be top 6.

Can we not just leave the budget to the board and stop jumping to conclusions regarding wages etc. based on nothing other than pure guess work and speculation? If there's no money left then that's it, the squad we have at the moment is more than capable of a top six finish.

Sadly can't make the trip as I've just bought a house and will be skint but had a look out of interest and reckon you could do all travel including visa for about 700 bucks each if there's 2 of you going. - Manchester to Moscow return with Easyjet is about £190 going Wed to Sun - Flights from Moscow to Krasnodar return about the same. - Petrol + parking + overnight at Manchester airport would work out about £80 each - Visa is apparently about £80 each - 4 nights hotel could easily be done for £150 each Really wish I could go now!

Luxembourg / Holland and away 2nd please! Is that too much to ask? Maybe throw in a 0-0 draw in the upcoming 2nd leg between the teams.

Going away in Europe to a Scandinavian team who are in the middle of their season and are top of the league is a pretty good achievement in my book! All means nothing if they get humped the second leg right enough.

I actually quite fancy Zilina... cheap flight to Bratislava then a couple of hours on the train... winnable tie and cheap booze. However, they are currently 2-0 down to Ljubljana.

Looking at the list of seeds on that Bert guy's website I think Debrecen or Zilina gives us a decent chance of progressing but would still be tough. Quite fancy drawing Estoril right enough, always fancied going to Lisbon and the weather will be decent but hopefully not as extreme as Greece or Turkey. Lech Poznan would also be a cracking trip with cheap beer but we would most likely get pumped. Can only make the trip if we're away the 2nd leg and it's not somewhere like Russia so hoping for the best tomorrow!

Not sure how this can be regarded as a saga. We can potentially sign a player with more ability than any non-Celtic player in the league and possibly even any Celtic player in a deal that is supposedly being financed outwith the standard squad budget. There has been rumours for a few days of it coming to fruition and suddenly it's a saga?! Mental...

What's the sudden rush to announce new signings??? Still plenty of time to go and if Motherwell announced all the new signings that Inverness have announced I would be pretty disappointed with them. Quality rather than quantity should be the approach and I'm sure we'll have a decent squad in place in plenty of time to attempt to actually score a European goal this season!

I'm the opposite, can only get time off for the 2nd leg... ah well, at least one of us will be able to make the trip regardless!

Levski Sofia! Always fancied visiting Sofia for some reason and I'm sure it's pretty cheap there? Can only make the trip if we're away the 2nd leg right enough so here's hoping!

At £40 a pop I'll be amazed if anyone goes!
