Good night. Thought Bill Leckie spoke a lot if sense in respect of the Old Firm and the SPL. Good to know the managerial vacancy has been popular (over 30 applicants I think was mentioned) and yhat it has been whittled down to the interview process. Was disappointed about the turnout as well right enough. Maybe be best served to have next years event in September/October so thst Xmas, the weather, etc. isn't a factor.

His comment about spending Xmas etc. with his family leads me to think he doesn't think he will get it......if he does want it. By saying he does, he is keeping his name out there and fresh in the minds of club chairmen.

If he is clean I hope he can put it out of his mind. This will be hard right enough. Club need to support him as much as possible. If he isn't clean I'm not sure what he does either. Could end up being just the same. Guys life is going to be nothing but worry from here on in. If new info comes to light that he is implicated then sacked, out the game, and court case with jail term penalty looms if found guilty.

All efforts into looking for a new management team. Forward and not backwards. With everything else going on at the moment I can live with that.

What if the new gaffer doesn't want him? He would be mad to turn down Aberdeen if given the chance as he doesn't have a clue if we want him at this stage.

The actions of Brown and Knox have maybe taken the edge off it a touch......but it would still be a massive error in my opinion.

Chat on the radio tonight was there has been a fair number of applications and they are setting up interviews. Take it for what is is worth but McGhee hasn't applied. Not that he would need too. However, the belief is we can possibly expect another Jim Gannon type appointment rather than a Gus MacPherson. Time will tell. Should be in place for Rangers game on 26/12. What a start eh? First game against a team that neither Malpas, McGhee, Gannon, or Brown could beat. Oh then it's Celtic!

For me it was one of Reynold's worst nights, maybe THE worst, in a 'Well shirt. I can forgive an og.......but he was a mile out with 95% of everything else as well. Maybe it is due to being utterly deflated by the last week but I 'Nulled' it.

I genuinely believe the actions of Brown and Knox could harm our support. If we are led to believe players/staff constantly can't wait to get away, the slightest sideways move is presented as a big step up, then I wouldn't be surprised to see casual attendees think what is the point. It won't affect me but I can understand 100% if it does to someone else. What DOES get to me is 3,300 were in attendance for that game tonight. I know it is cold, it is near Xmas, and the game was live on TV but that is truly woeful and really VERY depressing.

No other rumours/names linked to the job on the tabloids today?

Didn't think McCart would be am option or warmly welcomed by the fans due to his involvement in Paul Slane leaving. Personally I'd rather have someone with more experience at first team management.

With only six months left on his contract Craigan is the only other possibilty outside Gow, Blackman, and Fitzy imo. The fact he would pretty much be sacrificing his testiminial match (which should even out the money side of things) if it ever happens should kaybosh that one though. Reynolds will get himself a much better move next month.

I think Collins COULD be a good appointment if the players were responsive. Difficult to know with our current bunch. Depends on Collins' attitude as well right enough. It could well turn out to be Jim Gannon Part 2.
