  1. I don't agree a regime change is close. I do agree with the above though. Cummins, imo, is in the first team before he is ready.
  2. Ok. Celtic are a right good team. I know that. I saw that. Apart from more skill and better organisation they looked much fitter and stronger. We never troubled the goalkeeper. Not one chance. Pretty much the same as Ibrox. We were utterly woeful at the back. Shambolic. Many thought Cummins should be rested. To say he had a nightmare game is an understatement. At the 90th minute and from my point in the POD Stand I don't think I have seen the East Stand as empty before the final whistle. The DC was pretty empty too. That should worry some people. Ojamaa on in the 80th minute? Couldn't understand the wait.
  3. Randolph. The only thing stopping this being a slaughtering.
  4. So; Randolph Hateley Hutch Cummins ZFA Ramsden Humphrey Lasley Law Murphy Higdon I take it Hammell is injured? Doesn't appear on the bench.
  5. @MotherwellFC: Motherwell: Randolph, Law, Hutchinson, Hateley, Humphrey, Higdon, Murphy, Lasley, Ramsden, Francis-Angol, Cummins
  6. Media, fans of other Clubs, as well as our fans. We had pretty much the whole support of Scottish Football bar Celtic fans who want their team to pump them. Regardless, of the opinion of who we were representing or not, to state this match was just another League Cup tie is so far off the mark it is quite astounding.
  7. Cracking initiative. Well done everyone involved.
  8. It was much more than a normal League Cup game. I've heard it said that we were 'representing the SPL'. Never heard that before any League Cup tie in my lifetime.
  9. I'm beginning to worry about the number of recent MJC posts I've agreed with
  10. Naw. He was good in his first couple of games but to say he was better than Hateley, who has played pretty much at RB for 3 years, is simply not true. Hateley is only playing in CM because we never replaced Jennings....and because he wrongly thinks he can play there.
  11. Again, defeats against Pana, Levante, and ultimately Celtic are a LOT different to a 3rd Div Rangers side that was without four of their big summer signings with number five getting stretchered off after 20 odd mins. Big stadium snd lots of fans on this occasion does not amount to a good team. However, you are correct about what we have achieved on the budget we have. We shouldn't be looking to rest on our laurels though. We should be looking to better ourselves and break the glass ceiling by winning any trophy. Wednesday night, even if it had not resulted in celebration in Glasgow in March, would have been such a massive boost for everyone connected to the Club. All eyes on the Scottish Cup now.
  12. I would agree that we have little muscle in midfield. I wonder if the gaffer has toyed with a back two of Cummins and Ramsden and Hutch in midfield? I think he 'started' his career there. Not saying that it would work just thinking in type really.
  13. No doubt he is aware of how a lot of us feel. No doubt he has made the players aware as well. Hopefully, we won't see Rangers again for a couple of years. I'll greet if we get them in the Scottish Cup
  14. Wellfan - you keep your head in the sand then. If you think McCall wasn't culpable you haven't a clue. Dave - Tremendous banter. One wrong or two wrong it doesn't matter a jot. The team lineup was wrong.
  15. Annoyed at the time but I bet your glad you saved 15 notes now.
  16. He got two positions wrong. Hateley at RB and Ramsden at CB. That equates to getting the team 100% wrong for me. The players he choose in the position they were asked to play got it wrong. He picked the team he shoulders the blame. Managers get paid handsomly to pick the best side, formation, and tactics. They get praised to high heaven when they get it right, sometimes through luck, so they will take the heat when they get their part of the job wrong. McCall is rightly getting slaugtered for his part in Wednesday night's debacle. McCall made an arse of his team choice on Wednesday. Simple as that. The players were a shambles and equally as at fault.
  17. McCall 100% put out the wrong side so he is very accountable for Wednesday.
  18. From SPL stats on twitter; @SPLstats: Celtic have won their last 6 games against Motherwell. 4 of those wins have been by 3 or more goals. I think that shows exactly why I have the fear.
  19. Corrupt? Not seen that allegation before. Please explain.
  20. They should have been in from 9-5 in the run up to the Celtic game. If not physical training then going over and over tactics.
  21. The weird thing is some Rangers 'fans' I know are only just NOW cottoning on to the fact we haven't beaten them in 10 years. Amazing really. Their short term memory is better though and they are well aware of how much of a doing they have given us since January 2011, in particular. In that respect, whilst they appreciate him as a former player, I don't know too many that are looking at him as their future manager. It's these results, imo which will cost him that job. Job down South is his next move. If I was McCall I would be thinking the summer is the right time. If he hasn't committed to us by January 1st I'd be letting it known we are looking for a new manager and take renewal of contracts etc. out of his hands. We don't want a 'Jennings situation' in the manager's seat.
